RT -

Let it be said for the record that TGP has been playing the bizz-ace for almost 20 yrs and is still actively playing out.

RT will begin locating a venue and date for the "2007 LLPPallooza" headlined by 'The Posters - bringing you the crotch-grabbing bravado of a stadium rock-style band with unique sound of the Liberty League' (LD,TGP,JU,KS and RT on lead vocals....currently seeking a drummer)

Open tryouts in January.....Guru has first dibs if he can drum.

Set List suggestions (please add more)
- Girls, Girls, Girls
- White Rabbit
- Sunshine of Your Love
- Detroit Rock City
- Basket Case
- Dirty White Boy

what does everyone think? Or do we need more hair rock? RT doesn't want this to be one of those wimpy singer/songwriter acoustic projects. We can leave that to Jack Johnson and John Mayer...RT is looking to recapture the old school 80's garage band metal sound

feliz navidad from pittsburg!!

Nashville airport charges for wireless... Pittsburg, not so much.
Grad & Ms stopped for lunch yesterday at Mcdonalds & sign out front says Wireless here.   Cool now I can have my Big Mac & post to LLPP at the sametime...Best not spill any of that secret sauce on my keyboard..

PS..just saw the on their website.
Our local service providers provide high-quality Wi-Fi service through several convenient connection options: on-line credit card payment, subscriptions, prepaid cards, or (sometimes) promotional coupons. If you have questions or need technical help, the Wi-Fi provider's customer support number should be handy in the restaurant........I'm going to Burger King!!

I'm gonna have to lay down a nice acoustic version of INXS 'Never Tear Us Apart.'

Rt Rev -

Most holy of you to share the HACs for the holi-daze!

RT-

The Rev can verify TGP's excellent bass-playing skills.  TGP had a band at 'Bart called Big Whiskey, and they played at a college dive known officially as the Rum Runner, but in The Rev's purview it was better known as the "Scum Sucker."

As a matter of fact, The Rev remembered TGP played bass, but had forgotten that TGP played football.

This is what happens with age.

The Rev had better go dig up more pictures of Asian girls on the 'net before he forgets what they look like.

Does anyone have the latest Vonage technology? RT used to have Vonage when it first came out and the quality of voice-over-IP was spotty and RT had several complaints from people he had to talk to over his Vonage phone. The only reason RT stayed with it was because RT was on the road alot, at the time, as a road warrior salesman it gave RT alot of portability between sites so he didn't have to eat up his cell. Eventually, RT got more domiciled at home and had an unlimited cell plan so he got rid of vonage.

RT has come full circle and is back in the mode of being on the road and trying to minimize cell expense and keep a consistent home phone # that customers can call even when RT is on the road. This Vonage V phone looks like a sweet concept but RT is worried about any 'gotch ya's' or if the sound quality is going to suck because it's such a small form factor.

Does anyone in LLPP have any feedback to guide RT on this.....

PBR...

garnet...dear lord why thank you melissa always does me well....pbr has a new link at the bottom of my posts which if you click shows her smoking a large pipe looking thing...he he he...

Garnet

Hey Rev, Merry Christmas!

Garnet

PBR, if you dig deep enpugh you will find that same pic on the link above.  She has been 'discussed' here in the past and is one of the favorites among some of the LLPPers.

PBR...

that is why she is the official spokesperson of the llpp....pbr wanders if she can sing? maybe she can part of "2007 LLPPallooza"

RT, on a different note, Skype, offered through eBay is a great Voice over IP service.  Worked really well for me.  They are charging starting January 1st though.

It's actually through your computer.  Works great with a microphone and a set of headphones.  You can make calls out, but I'm not sure if you can accept calls in.  Might be able to though.  Works really good with conference type settings.  Quality is really good, but if you have background noise it will echo, hence the need for headphones.

let festivus begin!!

Above is the Festivus Pole. The tradition of Festivus begins with an aluminum pole, which is praised for its "very high strength-to-weight ratio

1)First Will be The Airing of Grievances - In the Airing of Grievances, each person present at the celebration tells friends and family of all the instances in which they have disappointed him or her that year
2)Second we will have The Feats of Strength - The Feats of Strength is the final tradition that is observed in the celebration of Festivus. Traditionally, the head of the household selects one person at the Festivus celebration and challenges that person to a wrestling match. Tradition states that Festivus is not over until the head of the household is pinned.
