You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Gimme a break - Eli, in a team falling apart (ask the New York Stock Exchange) - Farve, on a team that's got a bunch of kids - or Vince Young, the new phenom?

Superman, you know better.

Does anyone have the latest Vonage technology? RT used to have Vonage when it first came out and the quality of voice-over-IP was spotty and RT had several complaints from people he had to talk to over his Vonage phone. The only reason RT stayed with it was because RT was on the road alot, at the time, as a road warrior salesman it gave RT alot of portability between sites so he didn't have to eat up his cell. Eventually, RT got more domiciled at home and had an unlimited cell plan so he got rid of vonage.

RT has come full circle and is back in the mode of being on the road and trying to minimize cell expense and keep a consistent home phone # that customers can call even when RT is on the road. This Vonage V phone looks like a sweet concept but RT is worried about any 'gotch ya's' or if the sound quality is going to suck because it's such a small form factor.

http://www.vonage.com/device.php?type=VPHONE

Does anyone in LLPP have any feedback to guide RT on this.....

Frank Rossi uses SunRocket - He has $99 for a year (often, they will offer $199 for 2 years and free equipment if you're lucky).   Frank Rossi says that if you only sparingly use your house phone, then go for it.  SunRocket can have spotty outages, but sometimes, it's more than likely your router needing to be reset than the actual service.  In this world of cell phones, you can set SunRocket to ring your cell simultaneously in case you're paranoid that you might miss a call due to some sort of outage.  $10 a month vs. $70 a month for the old MCI Neighborhood plan Frank Rossi had?  Frank Rossi is no fool...He says to look at his QB post immediately above for verification.

'gro

RT -

Let it be said for the record that TGP has been playing the bizz-ace for almost 20 yrs and is still actively playing out.

RT will begin locating a venue and date for the "2007 LLPPallooza" headlined by 'The Posters - bringing you the crotch-grabbing bravado of a stadium rock-style band with unique sound of the Liberty League' (LD,TGP,JU,KS and RT on lead vocals....currently seeking a drummer)

Open tryouts in January.....Guru has first dibs if he can drum.

Set List suggestions (please add more)
- Girls, Girls, Girls
- White Rabbit
- Sunshine of Your Love
- Detroit Rock City
- Basket Case
- Dirty White Boy

what does everyone think? Or do we need more hair rock? RT doesn't want this to be one of those wimpy singer/songwriter acoustic projects. We can leave that to Jack Johnson and John Mayer...RT is looking to recapture the old school 80's garage band metal sound

Here is the set list that TGP's band will be performing on NYE at "the premiere rock club in the San Fernando Valley":

Interstate Love Song
My Hero
Rollover DJ
Next to You (as in the song by the Police)
Celebrity Skin (we've got a chick singer who will sit in from time to time just to mix things up, otherwise TGP handles the VOX)
Only Happy When It Rains
Superstitious
Stay With Me
Doesn't Remind Me
Higher Ground
Communication Breakdown
Everlong

Rt Rev -

Most holy of you to share the HACs for the holi-daze!

RT-

The Rev can verify TGP's excellent bass-playing skills.  TGP had a band at 'Bart called Big Whiskey, and they played at a college dive known officially as the Rum Runner, but in The Rev's purview it was better known as the "Scum Sucker."

As a matter of fact, The Rev remembered TGP played bass, but had forgotten that TGP played football.

This is what happens with age.

The Rev had better go dig up more pictures of Asian girls on the 'net before he forgets what they look like.

TGP's bass playing career at 'Bart was more prolific than his brief stint as a CB on the Bart football squad.

As for the Scum Runner - no truer name could be associated with this establishment.  Still, some of my fondest memories from college occurred in this very place.

Hey, RT and FR at least had live coverage from the parking lot.  Any idea if they have any footage of darts from the Ruck?

PBR,  the bond markets are closing early to day but the equity markets have a regular trading session closing at 4pm.

If you want to kill some time, here is a fun little game.

http://n.ethz.ch/student/mkos/pinguin.swf

After a few minutes of play, Garnet made it to 277.

right click to drop, then click again to swing the bat.

EDIT Just made it to 311.
