RT is right again.  I respect you enough to know you didnt cheat on an internet question............

and as I ****in speak those ****ing florida state testicles ruin my night..............

didn't even occur to RT to look it up because RT is a history buff and wouldn't cheat on this kind of trivia...plus, that one seemed like a messy Google anyway

I hear ya. Im into the history as well......heres a good site for ya.

But before you go there.....Can you name the four colleges that have had both US presidents and Super Bowl winning QBs graduate?

http://www.answers.com/topic/list-of-united-states-presidents-by-college-education

TGP is no history buff, but Michigan is an obvious answer (the late Pres Ford, Tom Brady).

right.

the other three are pretty hard (for the presidents anyway...although RT has a headstart on one of them)

JU is getting straight up Alex Trebec in here!

TGP will take US History for $400 Alex......

Stanford: Herbert Hoover.  The university has the "Hoover Institute."
Purdue: Rev thinks this is not correct.
The Rev thinks it should be Miami University of Ohio: Ben Roethlisberger/Benjamin Harrison.

The Rev did massive research to discover this (except Hoover, that was easy).  The primary clue for The Rev re: purdue is that it was only founded in 1874, and a bunch of 20th century presidents were Ivy leaguers, a couple were service academy grads, and a handful were D3 alumni.  That left only a few to choose from and not one went ot Purdue.

By the way, the list of colleges that pre-20th Century presidents went to reads like a D3 football schedule.
Kenyon, Bowdoin, Allegheny, Dickinson, Amherst, Williams, etc...

Since some of you fellas are obviously fans of alcoholic beverages, The Rev has to who you something.

This is a pub in The Rev's hometown, Norwich, NY.  It is owned by a friend of The Rev, and The Rev is seriously thinking about buying the building and becoming the proprietor of the pub.

The Rev is starting a business plan.  Does anyone know anything about commercial mortgages?

Lyco80

I am always early or late - depending on when I get to sign on as Japan is 14 hours ahead of the East Coast.

Now to trivia:

The Rt Rev is correct:

Rothlesberger/Harrison - Miami of Ohio

Plunkett and Elway/Hoover - Stanford

Staubach/Carter - Navy

Brady/Ford - Michigan

And the bonus question:

President Jimmy Carter is an Annapolis grad and served aboard a nuclear powered submarine - known in Navy jargon as a "boat' because of its relatively small size.

Also - I dispute the Navy - BC prediction.  If Navy has their running game going - it will be ball control with very few televsion timeouts - just grind it out.  Navy will win in a close one.

Lyco80....(and the rest of LLPP)......

Jimmy Carter also did his graduated studies at Union College in Nuclear Physics!!

And I think BC will beat Navy.  BC gets a crappy bowl bid every year, and that disprespect will fire them up.  Just like at Boise St. last year, BC beats teams that they are not supposed to beat.  I see another year where BC brings it together and spanks their bowl opponent.

Nice!  TGP could see the Rev as the Sam Malone of the LLPP.

TGP can get you some info on commercial loans.  TGP pinged you on the PM as well.
