does this make anyone want to be a trainer??

The aspirations of one of the USC cheerleaders. It's interesting to see that more than one of them want to get into "real estate in Southern CA"....as well as saving 3rd world countries. Must be nice to be 20, hot, and not a care in the world and be able to just crack in, on a whim, into one of the hottest markets in the country because you are the object of desire for athletes, movie stars, and rock stars.....

Career goals: I hope to become involved with commercial real estate in the Southern California area. I also am planning to start my own business while exploring the stock market and investment banking. Along with the business aspects of my career, I aspire to one day start a national fund that aids children affected by the horrendous civil war in the Sudan.

this article says Boise RB Ian Johnson was planning on proposing to his gf Chrissy Popadics (hehe) after the game, had a ring and everything but left it at the team hotel in case they lost.

How cool would that have been if he pulled a schweaty diamond ring from his pants after that 2pt conversion?

Must be a new parenting era.  JT's parents were not adverse to using any tool in the book: beatings, bribes, restrictions, and Santa Claus. JT's Dad even had JT convinced there was another catagory naughty, nice, and rotten little SOB's.

For rotten little SOB's there were extra chores and duties leading up to Xmas, and then you had to hope for forgiveness from Santa and the parents.  Pops had a good scam going for a while.

First off, HNY to the LLPP!

TGP very much enjoyed seeing his grad school alma mater beat up on Michigan.  Got to wonder how many more seasons Carr has at UM with his track record vs. OSU and the bowl losses?

Too bad SC couldn't put up this kind of effort in the FUCLA game.

Props to BSU for throwing everything but the kitchen sink to beat OU.  One of the best endings to a game TGP has ever seen.  The look on Stoops' face was priceless.  He had no idea what was coming on some of those trick plays.  You can always imagine him thinking (WTF?!?!  The hook and ladder, the Statue of Liberty?!?!  What the hell is coming up next??!)

As for SC cheerleaders - yeah, real original on the CommRE interest.  Seems like everyone is interested in that deal.  About 70% of my B-school class were taking their electives in the Lusk RE school at SC just so they could hop on the RE bangwagon in '04.

Even with the slow down, SoCal RE is still quite the phenonemon.  There was an article in the LA Times over the weekend about these 19 and 20 yr old RE agents making bank selling these McMansions that poliferate throughout Socal.

TGP can't complain though.  Selling my house in early 06 certainly paid off for TGP and his family!

Naw - This was Part 2 of the Statue of Liberty play -- He faked her out, and thus, didn't REALLY have a ring to give to her.  If you watch the film carefully, he handed a box to Chris Myers behind his back, who later accepted Johnson's proposal.

gro had such a crazy time back in the 518 that he didn't post any stories... here's a good one that doesn't involve gro puking at the airport.

Cool or uncool?

my high school friend is married to this crazy "I'm smarter than you, I'm better than you, and I'm going to tell you why" eliteist chick. For example, when the 2 got married she kept her last name not for the women's rights thing but because and I quote, "I like my name why should I have to change it?". A lot of women keep their last names and it's not a big issue but if you ask her why she'll go on for hours about it and try to belittle you for even asking.

With that being said... they have a 4 year old daughter.  We are all together the weekend before xmas (sans daughter) and my friend casually asks the wife this:

Friend: So is your daughter ready for Santa Claus?
Crazy Bi-atch (CB): What makes you think she would believe in santa?
Friend: (pause) uh... she's 4 years old.
CB: We don't think it's fair to lie to her, so we told her there's no santa.

Cool or Uncool?

- You don't have to be such a bi-atch about everything. He asked about santa, just say "oh we don't do santa", she always has to belittle people like that.

- This poor girl is going to be in kindergarten next year and COMPLETELY ruin christmas for the rest of her class.
Did this woman go to William Smith College?  YIKES!!!

Watching a Seinfeld rerun tonight....episode is where Elaine is dating the guy from the Jim and Jerry doesn't like him because he speaks in the 3rd person. They all end up speaking in the 3rd person....watching this episode takes gives a whole new perspective.

Can the LLPP please provide input on the pro's and con's of living in the Albany area?

One of TGP's classmates is considering a relo from the Hahtfud, CT to Albany, NY area for a job.
