What is the freaking deal with paint?  I mean it is only color on a wall.  Same with pictures. 
Every weekend I have to hear from MR "WIll you help me hang these pictures?" translation- will help me take these 10 pictures, find the best spot to put them, find the stud and hang them. (a job that would probably take us 4 hours)  (With one person it would take about an hour)
Reg, No,  bc you can do everything besides me putting a screw in the wall. (a job that takes ten mins total)

and then the paint discussion
MR- "What color do you want to paint the _____"
Reg- "I dont want to paint any room any color...what is the big deal about color....the neutral walls look nice!....plus I don't have to do anything"

Regs office discussion-
MR-"We really need to do something about your office...there is stuff everywhere and you need a filing cabinet....plus we should paint it for you"
Reg- "MR, will you just let this one room alone, why arent you hanging pictures, don't tell me what needs to be changed in here, I will take care of it.  I know exactly where everything is and the only time I don't is when you come in here, tell me how much crap there is around, and pick up all my papers and put them all in one pile, OR you come in and open the mail at my desk.....getting all of this crap mixed in with my important stuff!  When I see the need to buy a new desk or any other ancillary product, I know where office depot and the credit card can be located"

Damn Reg......U89 agrees and has first hand experience over the past 2 weeks.......GF of U89 moved in 2 weeks ago and is attepting to tell U89 what must go and what can stay.....are you f'ing kidding U89.....this cohabitation experiment could be short lived!!!!

View everything as a negotiation.  Its just an opening.  She's going for the gold, she'll settle for silver or bronze on most issues.  Determine what you have to have outright and barter the rest.  That way you look like you are giving in a little.

Big10 was overrated all season.  USC would have smoked OSU like they did UofM.  You could tell in the UofM game that OSU's D was terrible - UofF just took what they saw on film and exploited it.

Just as well - further proof the BCS is completely flawed and what we've got in D3 is the best way to crown a true national champ.

2 hot rumors off the press.....uncle chuck is talking to the steel boyz about leaving the domers of south bend and heading to iron city and other one is the fish are talking to pete carroll about leaving usc...carroll has stated in the past he has no intentions of going back to the nfl but as we saw with saban money talks....imho carroll would be nuts to usc ....great recruiting, great weather and has a life unlike nfl coaches who are in film room 24/7 plus carroll is getting alot of $$$ to coach usc already

I'm feeling like Uncle Chuck stays put and Urban Meyer goes to the Dolphins.

Interesting rumor, but Urban Meyer will likely never go to the pros. First off, the pros are probably off college coaches for awhile after Saban and Spurrier (Petrino notwithstanding). Second, what Urban Meyer does works with 18-21 year old kids, not men.

A playoff system would give tougher teams more of an advantage because of games every week.

Also saw Wisconsin beat the SEC runner up Arkansas,  Penn. st. wack UT and an Auburn team that barely got by a pretty sad Nebraska team. It depends on if the coaches can get their teams ready to play a month to 2 months after their final regular season game.  I will say that for the most part the SEC ws dominate in the bowl games this year but of course the confrence power rotates and it might be the ACC or Big Ten on top next year.  The only team that didn't belong in the BCS this year is ND that was a total money issue.

biggest problem was a 51 day layoff for osu they really lost their edge...still think that UF probably would of won but it would of been a much better of a game...ncaa needs to step in 51 days between games is rediculous...also remember psu(big ten) played tenn (sec team) and psu had them more than covered speed wise and probably should of crushed them by much more psu's athletes were much better than tenn's

Florida went to the desert in  96 or something and got waxed by Nebraska. It happens. Now its time to crown the MNC for the next 4 years based on the recruiting of kids who haven't played a single down, many of whom are not academically qualified. (not in DIII land, of course.) You got that right! For what it's worth, the ALFRED SUN has declared Boise State the national champion! And until a major college playoff is enacted, the SUN will probably continue to declare a lone undefeated major college team as national champs. The Alfred Sun--a pretty good newspaper going places no other papers have gone before!

Can't imagine a football team, after playing 11 games, going against the practice squad for seven weeks before playing its final game. Throw out the politics; it's time the majors followed D3's lead and incorporate playoffs to crown a true undisputed national champ.

That last part is true of all college coaches.  College coaching philosophy in the NBA and NFL just doesn't adapt because of the egos and salaries.  The Dolphins have some issues right now because, since Jimmy Johnson, they can't find any chemistry or any combination that will work.  It got so bad, they won't even call it "Pro Player Stadium" any more...perhaps this reflects the lack of talent on game days?  I'm sticking by my "Urban Meyer will get some sniffs" position for a bit.

I actually think the SEC is overatted in football every year, especially Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama (Nebraska has a long way to go now too)

What it came down to in last nights game was that Ohio Sts linebackers and d-backs werent athletic enough to get off blocks and make tackles or slow down florida players who were better athletes.
