Funny, but it doesn't seem that long ago we were actually talking about football games and such.

Not that there is anything wrong with obsessing about an ESPN broadcaster's lewd behavior - to paraphrase the famous Seinfeld episode.

I find myself pining away for August already.

Pat, didn't you hear? The Stamford branch closed. Everyone moved to Scranton.

The Dilbert Moment of the day goes to...
general manager sends gro on an offsite audit early this week. Not a normal audit that would have a proper form/agenda, just a "go see what they are doing wrong over there" kinda thing.  Gro writes up an agenda which the GM approves. Gro does his thing then emails audit findings to GM. GM asks for a hard copy. Gro responds "The email is the write up"... implying that if GM wants a hard copy he should just print the email.  GM responds "I'd still like a hard copy, please"

in the words of coach king...
"you selfish sonofa... b!tch!!"

Schenectady, my home. WTF is going on there? How long can a city claim to be going through "tough times"?

Come to Camden, NJ http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6555449/  most dangerous city in America. And play GTA for real.

Dr. xGSC

The Doc resides in Camden County in NJ, but the farthest part away from the City of Camden. Doc coaches youth baseball and in All-stars we played a team from the Cramer Hill section (picture Little Havana) and to get there you have to drive through some very seedy areas.

Picture the scene in Escape from NY and I was Snake Pliskin without all the ammo and Ernest Borgnine as my cabby.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

gro you better find a mrs. for some puppy dawgs and ice cream quick the way this country is going in iraq and now bombing africa and our prez wanting to up the numbers of the military by 100K the draft may be reinstated.... :D

If Clinton had not slashed the military from 18 combat divisions (first Iraq war) to 11, we'd have plenty of troups, regardless of one's position on the current conflict.

Don't just blame Bubba, Nudie and the other Capital Hill Fun Boys were pushing to make all the cutbacks too.  This is why politicians need to actually listen to the Military people sometimes.

Wesley Clark is also to blame.  He was the guy telling Clinton it was OK. Graduated first in his class from West Point, but only acheived the rank of Cadet Sgt.  That should tell you what his classmates thought of his leadership potential.

Did anone see the news at the top of this page (or last page) about the posting hall of fame?

Wonder who was on the ballot, since only three got in ala Baseball HOF vote 2007.  Did someone(s) receive a low percentage of the vote for egregious posts?

somehow pbr doesnt see many of the llpp'rs making it onto the hof list...we are like a fine wine or good art, people will see our value after we are long gone only then will we be appreciated...the guru's wont admit it publically but they enjoy our posts and chuckle often at our posts and subject matter...llpp'rs are like jack nicholson in a few good men "You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me(the llpp'rs) on that wall, you need me(llpp'rs) on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something." like the llpp!!!

In TGP's opinion, Gro is probably a HOF candidate just based on time spent on PP.  TGP means, the guy registered about 5 yrs ago and has almost 4,000 posts and karma in the 6-hundo range.  Now that's commitment!

Still, each HOF has it's own selection criteria and what may qualify one year, may not the next.
