"Comic Book Geek Moment of the Day":

Just watched the latest Spiderman 3 (aka S3) trailer (now available in Hi-Def). 

TGP's "inner child" is very much looking forward to this one as well as the new Transformers flick out this summer (check out the Top 10 Optimus Prime sayings submitted by fans:

TGP's personal fave is the "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings")

However, TGP noticed during the S3 trailer that the writers/producers/etc apparently want us to think that "Sandman" (aka the guy from that show "Wings") was Uncle Ben's killer, when we all know that in S1, the guy who killed Uncle Ben was actually the guy who robbed the wrestling promoter (after a costumed Peter Parker defeated Randy "Ohhhhh Yeahhhhhh" Savage - great cameo for the Macho Man BTW), who later was killed after he dropped out of that run down factory following a fight with Parker.....

Anyway, TGP realizes he's a dork and all that for knowing this, but wouldn't the writers/producers/etc realize that nurds like TGP would catch this gaffe?

gro's "inner dork" has been watching the show heroes on NBC and thanks to IMDB he realizes where he's seen a few of the actors before:

the cheerleader chick was the annoying little girl in remember the titans, p.s. she's hot now.

the crazy psycho chick was the whipped cream bikini girl from varsity blues

and the dude that walks thru walls was one of the main dudes in drumline.

TGP is also a fan of Heroes (it quickly replaced Smallville as TGP's favorite show a while back.  Smallville isn't even on the Season Pass any more it has gotten so unwatchable - but TGP is still a fan of Lois aka Erica Durance).



Little known LLPP fact:  Mrs. TGP does the voice over at the beginning and end of Remember the Teen Teens.

Snickers pulled that kissing doods commercial because it got complaints from gay rights groups as being homophobic.  Now if you take away the complete absurdity of the ad (why would 2 people be eating a snickers at the same time) if 2 straight guys accidently kissed what should they do?? say "hey, that's not so bad after all?" and start going at it??  Gro thought that them opening their shirts was funny since in a way they were just getting gayer (yes that's a word) and thought the commercial was going to continue on that track. Oh well, someone is always going to complain. They should have just dropped a "not that there's anything wrong with that" line at the end.

JT seems to be finding FMJT sister's lips lately (not JT's fault, must have something to do with the height thing... JT going down and sister coming up).  Sister is just as cute as FMJT.  All JT can think of is that JT's never had sisters.  Is that wrong?
