Rev just realized that said nutsy broad of an astronaut is a naval Captain.

Her career is OVER.  even if she gets out of the attempted murder, etc., charges, she will face a court martial: Conduct unbecoming of an officer.  Dishonorable discharge.  Lose her fat pension.  never fly again.

She's screwed.

The Rev wants to know this dood's secret.  What kind of mojo must he have to make a gal who is obviously pretty smart lose her marbles, go cuckoo-babalink, and throw everything away.

Please God, give The Rev just a fraction of that mojo.

P.S. The Rev used to gas up astronauts on their way from Houston to Edwards AFB.  They use T-38s as company cars.  The Rev never serviced any of the astronauts involved in this sordid news.

Rev:  A couple of my ex-military friends were very surprised she was a captain at such a young age. I for one did not realize how high a rank captain was. I thought every little tug boat no matter how small had a captain on it, and it was explained to me they do, but the captain is not necessarily, or even often, a "Captain"  I guess being an astronaut had something to do with that.

The stories down here in NYC make it seem like it is aimed here.  Makes sense that it would be, but I can't believe people would need a law to not walk into traffic...but you see it often enough.  JT had brought up similar things a week or two ago.

I truly think it's funny how different parts of the counrty work for crosswalking. 

At RPI, there was a strict "cars must stop when people are crossing"  do you think that college students would at least think to look before crossing?  By the time I was a sophmore, I had seen my fair share of people almost become hood ordaments.  It's just common sense people, look both ways before crossing the road!!!
In DC, specifically georgetown, the same behavior applies.  People expect cars to stop and then when they visit other areas of the country they almost become road kill before they drop a turd in their pants and wonder back into reality.

My sister lives in Vermont and that is the law there.  People just walk out, doesn't matter if a car is coming or not.  First time I went there I complained when I got to my sisters place and she acted live I was crazy.....
