The WEAB reference would have been even funnier last week.

"In the end we will survive rather than perish not because we accumulate comfort and luxury but because we accumulate wisdom"  Colonel Jack Jacobs US Army (Ret).

nothing out of the ordinary this weekend.  a little boozin on saturday, a little housework on sunday, and back to work today.

what happened at who's house, regs house?

p.s. watched various parts of the daytona 500... nascar = yawn. at least the ending was good.

p.s. part II - does anyone else see brittney spears as a nice "buy low" project? (from a business angle you perverts).

Gro- Regs Bro came out for his birthday.  Enjoyed a lovely dinner at the melting pot and then some coldstone birthday cake.
Yesterday, I though my one nascar friend was going to dog me but then he called from a local bar so we went there.  Race was pretty good.....free wings were pretty good.

Let me ask a question to the LLPP..... WHY are the SAME people ALWAYS SICK!!!
Without fail, every time you see this person, they are either hacking up a lung, wiping snot off their upper lip or just sound like crap in general?!?!?

'gro

those that follow LLPP know that gro has boss and pseudo boss... now there is pseudo boss #2. He hasn't started yet, but gro can't wait to have 3 bosses.  Main boss is supposed to retire at the end of '07, but he's been "retiring" since before gro was hired.  Gro will be sharpening his TPS report skills for the new boss.

Do these people have (young) kids?  Children have been known to keep parents sick from pre thru elementary school.....

TGP enjoyed a quiet weekend with 75+ weather here in SoCal.  Fired up the pool both days.  Listened to Bart's lax season opener (lost vs. SU 13-11) for a bit on sunday.

It's raining today, but since the markets are closed, TGP has a day off.

So did any of the LLPP contribute to Ghost Rider's $44.5 Million opening weekend?  TGP has always been more of a DC (Superman, Batman) guy, but besides Spidey, GR was a cominc TGP would check out from time to time back in the day.  Having Eva Mendes in the movie probably didn't hurt....como se dice?  hola hottie?

TGP- Do they have kids.....yes and no.....
Regs brp's wife is a teacher....so obviously she is sick 24/7/340

There are other people....that don't have kids that are just freaking sick all the time.

What does it mean when you say "fired up the pool"?  Do you have something special that the pool does?  Waterslide?  Filters?  Whirlpool?  bubbler?

REG: Let TDT translate.  It means he has "drop it like its hot" crazy monkey sex with Mrs. TGP.

Also, Britney is disgusting and repulsive.  I wish she'd do us all a favor and go away.  15 mins of fame OVER sweetheart!!!!

Enginegro: Are you in a state of mourning after the M. Irvin news over the weekend?  Maybe he and Harold Reeeeeynolds were messing around with the SAME intern....

Norv Turner agrees to become chargers head coach...wow they go from one of the best to one of the worst

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

See ya later Irvin!!  Somebody will pick him up, probably the NFL network, which is like a training ground for players that want to get into broadcasting. Berman, TJ, Jaws, and Ditka can now do their show without irvin's predictable commentary.

Gro saw irvin this weekend playing in a NFL alumni flag FB game (from the pro bowl)... same ole irvin, when he talks to you he HAS to be touching you. Rule #73, don't touch gro... call me buddy revell, but gro hates it.  Irvin remides my of the guy that is still dispensing out "2 for flinching" way into his mid 20's.  LLPP, don't be THAT guy!!

Would of been funny if the chargers flip flopped and rehired schott and fired the GM.

The norv hiring falls into Gro's law that most people in business end up 1 level higher then they are qualified for.  In football terms, there are some guys that should just stay at the coordinator level. Norv was a bad HC, but did great things as San Fran's OC with Alex Smith and Frank Gore. Dennis Green should go back to being a OC, Jim Fassle should never be higher than an OC, there are others.

In business terms, are you really going to promote you best salesman to regional manager just because he's a good salesman? maybe that's all he was meant to be was a saleman (looking at you Dwight).

GRO-
Don't try to claim the invention of the peters principle as your own!!!  What's up with that?

From wikipedia- stated as "In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence."

I can't believe you just went there!!!

What's next, are you going to tell us you invented form of offense in football that will be specifically used when there isn't alot of time on the clock left.  Gro calls it "one and a half minute drill"

HA!

Irvin seems like a Best Damn Sports Show Period type.

Oh no!! this peter cat owes me money!!  Gro really did not know that, gro now feels somewhat dumber for stating that. Centuries ago more than one scholar must of thought that the world wasn't flat right?... throw me a frickin bone here.

oh yeah, it's called the 90 second drill, ya heard??

"prima nocta, as confirmed in wikipedia"

GRO: Regulator owns you dood.  Better step up your game...

RE: JetBlue

Any members of LLPP get stuck someplace around the lower 48 because of these clowns?  Seriously what is this Amature hour?  This isn't kiddie games.  Shouldn't take 6-7 days to recover from a snowstorm....
