Reg, reading that post gro could only think of this...

Recent research has shown that empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited and as a corollary the market for technologies is shrinking. As a world leader, it's important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe strongly there will always be a need for us to have a well articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development. Thank you....

what happened? I blacked out

HA HA HA...+k to Gro for his Old School quote

+k to Reg for his continuous handyman knowledge

Just wanted to let you doods know that The Rev got the phone call he's been waiting for this morning.
the Rev was offered, and accepted, the position of Airport Projects Manager with the AZ DoT.

Say hello to AZ's newest bureaucrat.

"Good morning, how can I make your paperwork move like molassas?"

"I'm sorry.  Everything on your form is correct, but you misspelled Phoenix.  OE, not EO.  No, none of this will do.  You'll have to go back to the files from 1971 and start from scratch. NEXT!"

See? The Rev is a natural.

JT

JT just received a big car repair bill.  These newer cars with all the electrical and conputerized components can really get damaged if you happen to drive through a big puddle of water.  It rained Thursday into Friday and JT left real early for work and hit a flooded street in his neighborhood.  This street never floods and it was still a little dark.  Someone plugged all the sewers with snow.

So JT was in the middle of a small lake before he knew it.  JT never tries flooded areas unless he rolling with a big 4x4.  He made it out of the water then everything cut out.  New spark plug wires, spark plugs, sensors etc etc.  Give me a carborator any day and a regular old distributor cap and JT would fixed it himself for about $75-100.  Cost JT $843.

So be careful with those newer vehicles.

+k JU. Was the fat one wearing a Celtics jersey?  JT's picturing a female version of Dan Akroyd ala Celtic Pride.

Na, no celtics jersey.  Just a XXXXXXXX-Large shirt.  Man was she horrible.  And she was the fat chick whose stomach is bigger than her chest.  Do you know the one Im talking about?  Real small chest but a huge gut?  Made me wanna puke.

Another funny thing about pro-basketball games I noticed are the timeouts.  During the timeouts, the Celtics Cheerleaders (Garnet should get on that ASAP) would come out and dance and whatnot.  Now here is Isaiah talking to the starters on the bench while 3-4 other players and even some coaches were literally turned around watching the cheerleaders dance!  It was funny.

after seeing dancers like this Garnet can understand how a player can get distracted.

REG: The story of the Grease monkeys today is unreal.  Will have more details on Weds.  ::)  ::)  WTF

Where is the Enginegro?  Training in the ATL with Hooters wings and his TPS reports???

Great anecdote Jonny.  Clearly many members of the LLPP can only dream about such a scene.   That would be unreal to witness live.  Was your buddy just laughing hysterically?  Were you at any point in danger of being chomped on by this Major League Hoggie??

Rev and LD11: Have u guys seen the latest Quizno's commercial?  Holy ish this baby is tailor made for the LLPP.  They are advertising a Prime Rib Steak Sammich in the piece which is a well documented LD11 fav.  Then at the end an Asian girl (since the Rev loves to chase the Asian tang) says something to the effect of "That's why girls love the meat!!!" No Joke it is unreal.

The Rev will keep his eyes out for said ad.  Thanks for the tip.

The Rev went new apartment hunting today.  He is going to try to get a little place only 1 mile from new gig.

The pair of breasts that gave Rev the tour were attached to a pretty attractive life support system.  The Rev wasn't as charming as usual because he couldn't get his mind off the deep hankering for milk throughout the tour.  Zowie!

New apt, if I get it, is also only a block or two from the AZ Korean Cultural Center. A bonus.

GRO is obviously working with some serious Company plastic.  Kudos.  TDT suggests heading to the Buckhead neighborhood for some nightlife, delicious cocktails, and scantily clad tail.

RE: Steaks

Mortons? Ruth Chris? Outback? Capital Grille? your local independent?

RE: RPI Hockey

TDT just saw that RPI snagged a kid outta MN hockey power Holy Angels for next season.  Nice work, but better stay AWAY from all Johnnie football recruits or there will be hell to pay.  You've been warned!!

TDT- What is up with the grease money?  Give some details!

Gro- Mortons.....thye let you in that place?  Whats up with that?

When Reg was in the ATL last year, some of us went to Buckhead....man it sucked....maybe we were at the wrong places, but it was not fun and it was realy trashy.

Congrats on the new gig and good luck in the apt hunt.

TGP will keep you posted as a June visit to AZ might be in order with the Red Sox playing a weekend series vs. the D-Backs (TGP already has picked up tix for the San Diego-Boston series).
