Have we in the LLPP, Inc. become soft??  Have we suddenly become PC??  Why has no one discussed the Don Imus situation??  Imus made an assinine comment, but even more rediculaas was his appearence on Al Sharpton's radio show to 'clear the air'.  Why in the world would ANYONE go on Sharpton's show....EVER.  After the Tawana Brawley situation and lack of an apology to the suspected stool smearer, Sharptons credability is below whale crap!!!  U89 even sees Sharpton and he starts to wretch.

let me break it down real quick like.

1. imus pulled the media equivalent of bobby knight. he got away with a lot of worse stuff throughout his career, then gets canned by a smaller incident that was blown out of proportion. I've said worse things to my own sister. When you add it all up, he should be fired (have you listened to a regular show? he sucks anyway) but the incident in question is waaay overhyped.

2. Sharpton is a blatent self promoter. His mere presence at the scene of any alleged injustice make me roll my eyes. He's there to be seen, not to help.

3. Back to Imus. The guy can't even get himself out of a bad situation. He went on sharptons show (no win there if he denied)  but when sharpton starts asking set up questions Imus responds with "I can't win with you people".
- Rule #1, don't ever touch a black man's stereo (last week's office)
- Rule #2, don't use the term "you people"
AND THEN, when he is called out for using "you people", he says that sharptons tactics are "jive". what an idiot.
