Jonny Utah

Ill give Pedroia untill June 1 to be batting over 250.  If he cant do it by then hes going to Pawtucket.

And F Clemens.  I dont want that guy back.  Go to Houston and play for a team that no one cares about.

Agreed on both accounts.  I'll poop in Clemens mouth.

Clemens price for that is $250,000... but I could talk to my guy down in finance and get you a cleveland steamer for $75,000. Do we have a deal?

Wow, I usually agree with you guys....not here though.  I love Clemens and would love to see him close out his career with a World Championship in Boston.

As far as Pedroia goes...3 years from now, he will still be small and slow with a mediocre arm.  Calling Cora a stud was an overstatement by me, but the guy is sound and does all the little things well....ask him to bunt in a key situation and it's done.....ask Pedroia to do the same and he repeatedly pops it back to the screen.

Didn't the Sox basically let Clemens go because they thought he was heading towards the downside of his career?

Touchdown Tommy

U89: Touchdown Tommy understands that Chuck Knoblauch is available...

Next weekend in the Bronx, will any LLPPers be in attendance?

Fenway to The Trop today, talk about a letdown.  Tropicana is #30 on TDT's worst ballparks list...followed closely by The Metrodome.

JT: Dan Duquette....I fail to understand why they wouldn't want the best pitcher of ALL TIME back.

I don't even think Clemens wants anything to do with Boston.  It gets put in the media, and I wouldn't be surprised if Clemens floats interest around to the Sox, just so when maybe we'd get our hopes up, he'd say 'Just kidding, I'm going to the Yankees'.  He is an ass.  I'd rather have him on the mound for the Yankees, and have the Sox pound 15 runs on him.

TDT, never been to the metrodome, but you have to rank the Trop lower because it is a newer ballpark. They should have known better than that when they built it.  That stadium has about as much charm as a hospital.

dang, gro is talking beisbol... NFL draft this weekend, it's draftastic!  Browns and Lions fans only day of optimism for an entire year.  Gro likes this okoye kid from louisville. Besides that he is named after the nigerian nightmare he's a physical stud and has his degree at 19... 19!!!  Some college teams have 19 year old freshmen. amazing.

I reckon so. I drank sweet tea once before I knew they put mind control drugs in it.

JT respects Clemens as a player.  Was a great mentor for Pettite, but JT never loved the guy in pinstripes.  He'd be a good addition to the Yanks staff, but he can't be considered a true Yankee.

Best moment as Yankee was when he drilled Piazza between the N & Y on the helmet.  JT laughed his ass off.  Piazza was diving in and Clemens was off about an inch... BANG!!!  Ol' Mikie looked he got shot with a gun.  JT doesn't hate the Mets, just most of their fans.  Still pisses Mets fans off that JT starts to giggle, when they mention Piazza/Clemens.

Mariano RIvera is washed up.  true
Celtic Green is a nice color. true
Hideki Okajima is filthy. true
Gay-Rod drinks wine coolers. absolutely true

Looks like LD11 is correct on all four accounts.

TDT -- Actually the Sox are in Toronto for two more against the Jays, I believe. The Yank-Me's are at the Trop.

JT

Any LLPP'ers every pull or strain that little muscle on your back near the shoulder blade.  Its that muscle that when strained causes a dull ache due to the weight of your arm.  The affected area feels about 1 1/2" inches long.

JT hurt the left one about 8 years ago, now he hurt the right one.... not sure where.  Seattle luggage may have been the cause.

What a pain in the ass.  Only place JT feels comfortable lately is the lazy boy.  From what JT remembers, it takes about a week to feel good again.

WTFF did that about 4 months ago, and it's still bad.  That's no good bud.
