I think the Pats should draft our own Enginegro.  After eating over half of his inventory in the hot dog zip line business, his Ninja head kicks will definately open some large holes for the Pats RBs.  He could also be utilized as a Sebastian Janikowski type kicker with his extreme soccer skills and Samoan dancing.

LD, I had you penciled in as an investor in GSFFFD... with your actions lately it's obvious that you're down with anything that involves weiners flying towards your face

ZING!!

p.s. mel kiper lists gro as a sleeper in round 6/7.

A guy goes to one gay bar as a sign of good faith and he gets ridiculed with this nonsense?  It wasn't like your prototypical gay bar with leather clad a shirtless men with red rubber balls strapped in their mouths, it was a little quaint piano bar with gay old men watching American idol together with 3 straight people in the back fo the room pronouncing their heterosexuality.

that's what you get for announcing that you went to a gay bar, next time just deny deny deny

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

FINE... Gro's been to a gay bar in Albany (with a girl of course). Think it was gay night, not a gay bar... and it was all lesbians. Weird, felt like I was going to get kicked in the nuts at any moment.

Then there was Reg's bachelor party where the douchebag strip club bouncer sends us to the gay bar in the hood. That was fun.

See THAT my friend, was REALLY gay.  Everyone in the line at that place had purple or leopard cutoff sleeves with cutoff jean short Daisy Dukes.  We almost got capped in a drive by, just for walking around over there!  Easily one of the scariest things i've ever encountered.

Re: Baltimore

To refresh those that haven't heard the story Gro, LD, and Reg are out in B'more for Regs last weekend with nuts. Bars close at 2, we go over to the strip club across from the hotel. they are closed too, bouncer guy sends us to an after hours place. Cab drops us off. We get in line... dood has on daisy dukes. We start to look at eachother. Dood drives by and gives us the look of death. Then we figure it out that its definetly a meat market to the Nth degree but it took another 20min to find a cab bacause they don't drive through that part of town at night and there was a large gathering of upstanding young citizens at the gas station half a block away I'm sure one of them would have given us a ride if we asked... or just stabbed us.

Anyone see any clips of the Wisconsin Tackle in action?  Pretty impressive.

And am I the only one who thinks the Pats should get another Olineman?  Nowhere around does it say they will pick one up with one of their first two picks.......

Joe Thomas won't be around for the Pats.  He won't make it past the Bucs at 4 if he makes to the Bucs at 4.

No I knew that, just thinking the guy from C. Michigan or Arkansas might slip.  Plus, the Pats took L. Mankins that one draft when no one had him that high and the guy ended up being a stud.

Nick Caserio:  http://www.patriots.com/team/index.cfm?ac=coachbio&bio=32456

one of tgp's former bart teammates worked for the raiduhs as an asst coach for a few years, but is no longer with the team.  not sure where he ended up.  had a nice coaching resume, so tgp is sure he's doing well.

Im still going to assume that top lax players at Hobart (like Cornell and Princeton) arent paying the full price and probably get half the tuition paid for by "academic" scholorships.  But even with the rest paid for by loans, guys are going to choose a full ride at Ohio St, Fairfield or Albany than go to Hobart.

Although notice not that many Cuse area players on the Hobart roster.  Thats a problem.

I think that Fayetteville-Manlius would be a natural feeder to a place like Hobart, but I only remember two or three guys from F-M the whole time I was there.

it would seem like a logical move but the really good West Genny and F-M kids head for sunnier pastures (Virginia, Duke, G-town) and the more average (for those schools) end up starring for some of the D-III powers.  Also Lemoyne is now taking a lot of those kids b/c of the scholarships and recent success.  Hobart should look to Cornell recent success (with a hobart guy, if I am not mistaken) and look to Canada for stud Box players.

I think Jeff Tambrone is coaching at Cornell.  If I recall, he was a West Genny grad, as was our former player and coach, B.J. O'Hara.

Not a bad call looking toward Tambro for guidance.  He's built that program into something real.

Hey if any of you guys live near Geneva, Hobart is looking for a part-time offensive coach.

The Rev is offensive, but in the wrong way.

Bart actually has gotten a couple of Canadian kids via Salisbury School (CT) thanks to Salisbury's HC, Bobby Wynne '94 (former Lax and FB capt).  Two of Bart's leading scorers are both canucks (Daryl Veltman 41 pts on the year and UVM transfer Jamie Kirk 48 pts on the year).

Is that where Bobby Wynne is now?  The Rev has to say that BW has The Rev's ultimate respect.  He was one of the toughest guys I ever met and had a truly sound moral basis (which I think added to his toughness and never-quit attitude).
