I really thought the board would have a bigger reaction to the statement that basically nobody here will ever be in the Hall of Fame. :)

I'm not sure if anyone here has those kinds of lofty aspirations.

Our aspirations are very very low here in the LLPP.  We wouldn't accept anything less....

And no, I left voluntarily. NBCSports.com wanted to keep me but the geography just wasn't going to work out, not with the uncertainty of the project.

Especially when the people around you were dropping like flies. Hanging around in that environment is usually not a good idea.  JT tried to make a situation like that work once, then his position was eliminated 6 months later.

In other news, former Notre Dame star Rahib Ismail -- under pressure from angry scientists at NASA -- admits that he is, in fact, not a rocket.

I guess that means his mom has to drop her handle as the "launching pad."

Willie Parker, nicknamed 'Fast' Willie, self admitted a fastes 40 time of 4.28.  And that's ever.  It might have been his grandma on the clock.  And that's a guy who has 'fast' in his nickname.  That would be like Ed 'Too Tall' Jones being 6'4".

Actually LD.......upon hearing NASAs news regarding Ragib Ismael, (which Gro shared with us), the American Height Association just announced that Ed "too tall" Jones has just been stripped with the nickname "too tall".

(will it ever end?)

All these Randy Moss haters out there.  Like I said, Randy HAS to produce and be a good citizen or his career is over.  Let's see...

He was in Minnesota who made a name for Lake Minnetonka.

Hey, I loved Moss when he was here. The fans here still do.

But.....he has gotten a little brittle and watch how tenderly he goes over the middle.

That's not why they got him I know. But he gets hurt easily these days.

I was sitting at Lambeau Field when he pooped out the football at the Packer fans. Classic. I hope he does well.

This is BDB's attempt at political correctness. Moss is a puss. (Not a douche, though). ;)
He's good on paper and gets everyone excited when they conjure up images of some of his spectacular plays. Mark my words, he'll have a few clips on the highlight reel, but he's a puss.

Interssting Fact...

Devin Hester runs a 4.51 40yd dash.  However, High Definition television makes him look like he has 'blazing' speed.  Also, it is well known that the Bears tend to schedule teams with sub-par 40 times.

How the hell would you know LD?  What, do you work at Tweeter or something now?

Gro, no calls yesterday?   Maybe you need your own youtube clip showing off your skills.

It all started one day outside of Arby's...on St. Patty's Day 2007...

So I just had the Prime Rib and Peppercorn on Garlic Bread.  Haven't been to Quiznos in a while.  I might have to go buy another one to sleep with tonight.

Uhhhh, dude...hello????  I watch the games.  He looks amazingly fast on the field, especially in HD, where if you look closely, you can see the outline of his jockstrap.  But his 40-time proves that he is not very fast at all.

Now your a frickin equipment manager?  Or wait, wait........you own a sporting goods store right?

Ok enough of that........

Moss although not a versitile player, does do one of the most important things well.  And that making sure the corner and free safety go with him at all times.  I have a feeling the Pats will be running and gunning a lot more this year, first opening things up a lot underneath with Stallworth and the others,  then when teams start to crack down.............there goes moss for 70 yards and a td........

That's fine. I figured since you folks have such solidarity with the MIAC people and three people on that board have brought it up (one has it in his profile!) there might be some interest.

While you're working on your reading comprehension regarding my job status I'll be crying my eyes out. :)

I don't post a whole hell of a lot, but maybe I could be the LLPP's HOF rep. I write about the game for the site (JT could be the NJAC rep) and I don't have any character issues (using the buzzword term for the 2007 NFL draft, not crapping on any of the posters). Maybe we could make it work.

Sometimes I think i should be in the HOF just based on my good looks alone.
