today's joke of the day

A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving at him. She says hello. He's rather taken aback because he can't place where he knows her from.

So he says, "Do you know me?"

To which she replies, "I think you're the father of one of my kids."

Now his mind travels back to the only time he has ever been unfaithful to his wife and says, "My God, are you the stripper from my bachelor party that I made love to on the pool table with all my buddies watching while your partner whipped my butt with wet celery???"

She looks into his eyes and says calmly, "No, I'm your son's teacher.

Now that's funny.

Ironically the waves are a little big for LD11.  They are over head high with a wicked bump and a nasty rip tide.  LD11 hopes it is a little more calm in the AM for a morning session.

Doesn't look like much, but the speck is a dude standing up...

LD11 is still afraid of large rough surf and drowning.  A surfer actually drowned down here on Wrightsville Beach last weekend.  He wiped out and was paralyzed from injuring his back and drowned.  It just bugs me out.  I'll have a compadre in the AM, so i'm gonna wait it out.  THunder and Lightning right now anyway.

you will get the experience ld....when pbr was in hawaii last year and 25-30ft. waves rolling in at the banzai pipeline mpbr looked at me and said dont even think about and there wasnt a chance pbr was going out there...doods(the pro tour) were snapping boards left and right. pbr has surfed 15 ft. waves and knew what that was like there wasnt a chance pbr was going in the water although we watched kelly slater et al for about an hour practice

believe it or not pbr has friends who surf on the great lakes...they get solid waves there especially on the south shores when a northwest wind blows in.  pbr's friends surf around chicago and other areas pbr can find places up by lake erie and ontario if your interested....

I had no idea they can surf on the Great Lakes.  That is actually pretty interesting.  I live in Tampa so, if I want to surf I just drive to Melbourne.  It has been a long time though.
