TGP was pissed for a while that Bart had the 9 game schedule (finally have 10 this season).  So lame.

I can even understand, "rounding out your schedule" to get to 10 with Endicott or Utica....

I should be quiet though......at least RPI is upgrading from playing first year DIII program Becker Community College.

He threw a gem tonight and the Sox still got swept......Dice-K needs some run support.

JT

Oh and RE: Grass over Turf in top 25

JT performs better on grass than turf.  Turf always gives him rug burns on his knees.  Zing!

yeah that and the sox need to send lugo down to pawtucket so he can learn how to hit again.

Howard's bomb reported at 505 feet.  He's the fastest player to hit 100 homeruns in MLB history.

He'll be a great Yankee in a couple of years.

U89,

Just for the record, and I understand what you were saying, but the golf tourney and the raffle is run by RPI alumni, and the money goes directly to the football team for things like Uniforms and jockstraps.  It doesn't pay for away trips and things like that, so not going or contributing, would only affect the team directly.  It's not going to make any statements.

There really wouldn't be a way to make a stance about changing the schedule other than going directly to the AD and i'm sure word gets to him that people are not happy about it.  It's been fought over and ridiculed for years, and instead of them scheduling tougher opponents, they seem to go the other way and move backwards.

Lastly, having a week OOC schedule has hurt RPI in the past, and the undefeated ECAC record, including recent big wins against SJF and Cortland, show that if RPI scheduled some tougher teams, they would most definately have a good shot to win, and could improve their overall shot at the postseason, with both Pool C candidacy, and preparation for Union and Hobart(and recently St. Lawrence...I just threw up)...

I just think it's too difficult for the team to have that 'On and Off' switch, to play the likes of Becker, Endicott, and Utica, and then get wacked in the mouth.  It makes Rochester and St. Lawrence seem like Mt. Union....atleast for a half.

reports coming out that trail blazers are going to take oden w/ the first pick...

Garnet

Today in the Wall St. Journal there is a fromt page story on Baggo or Cornhole, as some call it.  Garnet thought of the RPI LLPPers while reading the article.

Subscription is necessary to read the article so posting a link here is useless.

give it a try:

Regulator

Hey guys, don't know if any of you have caught up with the Red Eyes Dock bar pics, however, this year they have been VERY weak!  Reg is almost happy he hasn't made an appearance there this year.  My buddy went and said there the sweaty guy to decent looking girl ration is currenty about 100:1 (give or take 200 dudes)

Reg will not be joining in the festivities until he sees some good talent come out of this.  The same girls are competing week to week...which is fine* but only 6 a week is weak!

* No, actually it's not fine....do they really need the $200 for first place that bad?!?!  I mean....come on, is this like your job or something or is winning a "dock bar" contest something that makes you feel better about yourself.

The big 3rd place winner gets $75 bucks......boo-yah.

PBR...

reg needs to go on a recruiting trip to bring in some girls to up the ante....mreg have any interest in getting in the competiton?

PBR,

Reg just inquired to MR and her response was "they couldn't afford me".

That also brings up a good point for shoesapolooza 07.  If these girls are getting into these types of contests for $200, $125 & $75 in Maryland, then what about having a contest in Sch'dy?  I mean if you factor in the cost of living your first prize would be somewhere around $50 2nd $25 and 3rd $10 right?  The LLPP is good for that.
