Are you clowns gonna let Touchdown T (Pool Boy) bring the Crown back to the West Region again?

I figured all St. John's fans knew Crown was already in the West Region.

That was awsome....I want to make fun of the dude for getting his azz kicked, but that chick would have kicked the snot out of me too....she's good.

The best part was the cruiser rolling right by during the height of the brawl.

How about when she stops pounding him to talk to her daughter: "Please do not show me that at this point in time."

So Reg didn't tell you that he saw an all out brawl between 2 ladies today.  One was 5'9" about 260 and the other was about 5'6" 240lbs.  Both Hood Rats.....
This wasn't your average hair pulling yelling cat fight, this was all out get the girl on the ground and start drilling her in the face 40 times, fight!

Noone was even trying to break it up!  The receptionist is yelling "security Security"....Hey dude, you may want to use a phone to call them, we are on the 5th floor.

Reg tried to bust out the videophone, except on my razr it takes like 8 menus to get to it, plus I didnt want to get too close to the fight, (in fear for my life).  Reg actually looked around for something to hit the lady with as she got closer to me.  Man they were HUGE!

PBR...

when you hear the guy behind the camera sayin "walkin the dawg, walkin the dawg..." as she drags him down the street by his shirt collar...hilarious! man she put a whoppin on him!!!

I think she used to be the starting left guard for the NJCU Gothic Knights before they disbanded football.

You do have to ask yourself what the reaction to that video might be if the gender roles were switched and a big HE was wailing on a small SHE. I imagine it would be outrage.
Not to get all PC here or anything because I laughed at it too. But over the years I have represented guys who've been accused of domestic assault, some rightly, but many wrongly. If you're a guy and you get accused of that shiz, you're in for problems that may affect the rest of your life. In my neck of the woods, you can't own a firearm or get a hunting license. That really pisses some guys off.
If you're a woman, you get videotaped uninterrupted, and get the most hits for a day on YouTube.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast. (Sorry guys :-[ )

TGP's Unofficial 2007 Hobart Football Preview*

After finishing #22 in the country following a last second (00:03) loss to East Region Runner up Rowan University in the first round of the NCAA playoffs (which Hobart should have hosted btw – not sure why Hobart AD Mike Hanna passed on that opportunity), Hobart enters the 2007 season "receiving votes" in the D3football.com pre-season poll.

Although Hobart is still a favorite in the Liberty League race, the graduation of stand outs such as QB Shawn Mizro '07, RB and Team USA "hero" Doug Blakowski '07, LB Evan Hoffman '07, DE Anthony Purdie '07, and LB Nolan Richardson '07 leave Hobart with some big holes to fill in several key offensive and defensive positions.

However, based on TGP's (rather suspect) calculations, Hobart will welcome a large group of returning lettermen back to the shores of Seneca Lake – approximately 25+ - with a strong senior class (~16) leading the way.

Hobart's strength – not a surprise for any Coach Cragg team – will once again be the defense.  Although they gave fans and alumni several scares last season, the Hobart D bent more than they broke and, more often than not, came up with big plays when needed most.

This season Hobart returns their entire starting secondary – Sr CBs Corey Cage (21 T, 2 INT, 1 FR), Sr James Alexander (32 T, 1 INT), So CB Chris Symanski (21 T, 1 INT) and Sr FS Mike Kaplun (51 T, 3 INT).  Sr CBs Bryan Newcomb will also compete for a starting job.  Other key returnees include SRs DT Ryan Aruck (65 T, .5 Sack, 1 BK), ILB Jeff Sanders (59 T, 3 Sacks, 2 INT 1 FR), and DE Jim Drury (29 T, 5 Sacks, 2 FR).  JR LBs Justin Hager and Micah Coger will battle for the other open ILB position.

If the offense should stall, Hobart can rely on the big boots of Gilburg watch list Sr Punter Dom Ancona.  Last season Ancona led the LL and ranked fifth in the nation with an average of 41.3 yards per punt.  He also led the LL in yards per kickoff at 51.8. For these efforts and achievements, Ancona was named to several All-Star teams in the post season.

Kicking extra points and FGs will likely go to So PK Denis Avdic.  Last season Denis was second on the team in scoring with 39 pts (6-11 FGs and 21-26 PAs).

On offense, Hobart's strength will be a deep and experienced receiving corp which includes Sr WRs James Wright (31 rec, 455 yds, 5 TD), Ryan LiDrazzah (29 rec, 359 yds, 3 TD) and Steve Sorhaindo (10 rec, 127 yds, 1 TD).  TE duties will be likely be handled by JR Matt Duliba (1 rec, 10 yds, 1 TD) who gained valuable experience playing behind Kyle Martin '07 last year.  Big Jake Reile (SO, 6' 4" 255) will also compete for playing time.

Hobart has 4 upper classmen returning on the OL – JR OL Mike Condon and SR OL Phil Perkins started last season.  Srs OL Jerome Chambers and Derek Peterson will likely be asked to step up into starting roles.

At RB, Hobart will have some huge shoes to fill after losing Doug Blawkowski '07, the 6th all time leading rusher in Hobart history, to graduation.  Coach Cragg will likely move Sr Dan Spinella into the starting FB position (where he shared time last season with Chris Whipple '07) to block for the tandem of Sr RB Don Gilardi (37 Att, 230 yds, 3 TD) and Jr Anthony Hobaica (21 Att, 90 yds, 1 TD).  One of the big questions going into the season is whether Gilardi or Hobaica will become the featured back or if the Hobart running game will be "RB by committee?"

However, the biggest question on every Hobart fans' mind will be at QB.

Last season Shawn Mizro '07 finished an amazing career at Hobart:

•   #1 all time in attempts (862), completions (455), yards (6,097), TDs (61), efficiency (134.9),
•   2nd all time in completion % (55.1), average yds/pass (7.4), and average yds/game (174.2)

Stepping in for Mizro will be Hobart Sr QB Andrew Strom (who could very well be the first ever California native to start at QB at Hobart – should we call him "Sunshine"?).  Last season backing up Mizro, Strom appeared in 9 games going 6 for 10 for 48 yards and rushing 12 times for 90 yards (net).

Should Strom falter, Jr QB Rich Doyle and/or So PJ Overdorf (from Troy, NY!) will be waiting in the wings.

Awaiting Hobart this season will be some new opponents in NCAA qualifier Carnegie Mellon University and new LL member Susquehanna University for a full (finally!) 10 game schedule.

Traditional LL rivals RPI, Merchant Marine, St. Lawrence and the E8's Alfred Saxons will travel to Geneva.  Hobart will go on the road to visit Dickinson, WPI and Susquehanna before finishing up the season with back to back road games at Union and Rochester (for the 100th all-time meeting between the Statesmen and the Yellow Jackets) that could have post-season implications.

Given the team's success in the past 3 seasons, going 26-6 overall (18-2 in the LL), expectations will be high, but tempered somewhat due to the major question marks discussed earlier.

TGP's 2007 Prediction:   7-3 regular season record, ECAC Selection (and winner)

Hmm, TGP wonders what other LL team might have some huge question marks since they lost their star RB and QB to graduation?

Hmmm.....who could it be?

;)

True, but we survived with a very inconsistent Marotti at QB and no Angiletta at WR....defense should be solid......we'll soon see.
