Sorry guys but a $4200 tri is nearly unheard of.  Superfectas rarely even get that high.

So...one of two things happened.
-RT thought he was betting a different race
-Each of the 9 girls he was supposed to go out with texted him their favorite number and he played them

There is no way to handicap a freaking 4200 tri.....pure luck.

Yea I think you would need two 15-1+ longshots to place in the top 3 in a 10-15 horse race.

The Rev's Report

a) The Rev had a philosophy professor back in the day (when Rev was going to become a real rev), Fr. Kenneth Slattery, who is one of the world's greatest handicappers.  He is a regular at the Belmont.  Has his own seat there.  Is such a regular that the owner of the Belmont converted a chapel so that Ol' Slats can say Mass for the horse-groomers before races.  That's how Ol' Slats rolls.

b) The Rev hopes RT brings a new lady home to his pad and tells the FFMRT to beat it so that he can make time with this fit new bird.

c) The Rev had a bad day.  About one block north of The Rev's office there was a helicopter collision.  Two news helos were following a police chase and crashed into each other over the park.  The Rev got a call from the FAA, ran up to the park, and gave directions to the FAA to get to the crash scene.  Rev waited for the FAA dood, introduces himself when FAA dood arrived, and no sooner than the Rev and FAA dood shook hands when The Rev was asked to leave the premises.

Don't feel bad for the Rev, whose only injury was a minor bruise to his pride, two pilots and two cameramen died in the crash.  It really hit the Rev when he was standing there looking at the wreckage and suddenly pages from the pilot's Jeppeson Guide started blowing all over the place.  The Rev started picking them up when The Rev realized that despite being about 50 yeards from the burnt up main rotor, there were pieces of helicopter all around him.  At that point, The Rev could feel his mind starting to overload, so the Rev was actually kind of glad to get out of the area.
We are watching this on TV now...  :-\

TGP had heard this happened but didn't realize how close to the Rev this occurred.  Very sad.

My cable has been out for two hours.  This is the first I have heard of it.

At the harness races,  just bet the fastest horse.  Don't try to handicap or watch.  They are dull.

I live just north of 7th Ave and Osborn Rd.  My office is at 3rd St. and Osborne.  Crash and debris was between Central Ave and 3rd st. on Indian School Road.

did reg read my play? pure luck? RT liked 2 out of the 4 horses he bet...2 strong plays on top of 2 long shots....part wheel baby. RT hits one of those once every 5 years

Thx.

Don't forget today at 1 PM EST on the NFL Network they'll be broadcasting the final from the IAFA Football/Team USA championship.

TGP has set his Tivo to record it.

Comcast used to have the NFL network on digital cable, but moved to another "sports package" that will cost more.
