You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Sorry guys but a $4200 tri is nearly unheard of.  Superfectas rarely even get that high.

So...one of two things happened.
-RT thought he was betting a different race
-Each of the 9 girls he was supposed to go out with texted him their favorite number and he played them

There is no way to handicap a freaking 4200 tri.....pure luck.

did reg read my play? pure luck? RT liked 2 out of the 4 horses he bet...2 strong plays on top of 2 long shots....part wheel baby. RT hits one of those once every 5 years

RT let me ask you this....

Just looking at the results of Saratoga yesterday, it seems that if you wheeled every horse in every race you still would end up winning big on every single race.  Now granted you would have had to put up $110/$220 for the 4th race and more for the 6th race (depending on the scratches), but every single trifecta was more than the total wheelbet for all horses in the races.

Im taking it that this means that more longshots came in than favorites in every race?

Is Saratoga generally like that or is it certain weeks?

Also, if one of your horses scratches after you bought the ticket untill the time of the race, does the ticket still count?

Right so if you wheel 15 horses and then 6 horses scratch, do you still get to use the other 7 horses in the wheel on that ticket and get your money back on the scratched horses from the ticket?
(example: you wheel 12 horses at $2 for $264.  6 horses scratch.  Do you get $204 back?

And just looking yesterday, if you wheeled every horse at $2 it looks like you would have totaled $9,764 on $2 bets totalling $1,312.

Senor RedTackle

Ok...RT off to the track. Just hit the 7 horse in the first to win for $3...paid $16. Upates later

Senor RedTackle

How about this for a trifecta in the "Graveyard of Favorites" today in the 5th at Saratoga

Winner: 9 (37-1)
Place: 11 (30-1)
Show: 2 (3-1)

$2 Exacta  $1826
$2 Trifecta $8226

RT did not have this one........wow

Random Pic of the Day

It has felt like 95 degrees with 80% humidity here for the last two days.
Seeing that Reg always likes to prepare for said weather, he has had  264 update 312 fluid oz. to drink since Friday night...

man I still feel dehydrated.

Knightstalker

You should have started to hydrate yourself on Thursday.  Plus ML evaporates in hot weather so you haven't had as much fluid as you think.

KS feels like Regs Nick Nolte pic right now.  KS is looking at a level 3 in the morning.  It would be worse but KS ate greasy fried chicken wings from the local chinese take out place.  They always help KS hangovers.

KS woke up and it was only a 1.5.  Thank you greasy fried chicken wings from Henry's Wok.

KS went to the open blues jam at a bar in hoboken yesterday.  There was some 80+ dude there playing drums that could barely walk but man once he sat down he was smokin.  KS was very impressed.  KS got to play bass on three songs.  One song, the singer/harp player gave KS a tempo and basic beat and said give me some funk.  KS proceeded to give him funk.  KS got the older, still semi hot hoboken chicks dancing.  KS made eye contact with a couple and then KS did not have to buy another Jack single barrel on the rocks or pint of smithwicks the rest of the evening.  Then KS went home to greasy chicken wings.
