LD11 just booked his flight to Vegas at the end of October for a tandem Vegoose/Jimmy Buffett extravaganza.  For those of you who don't know what Vegoose is, it's kind of like woodstock but this year it's headlined with Rage Against the Machine, and has Public Enemy, Moe., Cypress Hill, Ghost Face Killah, and a bunch of Hippie jam Bands.  

This could be the end of LD11.

Maybe, PBR. Gagne has a no-trade clause, so he can deny a trade.
I think the Rangers would want WMP and probably Delcarmen or Craig Hansen for Gagne.. Gagne would be a great 7th inning guy instead of Timlin.

Is that official pbr?  I know they were looking at Cordero, Gagne, and Al Reyes.  Probably couldn't afford Gagne though.  What did the Mets give up for him?

With my first summer vacation of not having a whole lot to do, I'm trying to get into some new shows.  I've had HBO for a little while now, and love Entourage, and tried John From Cincinnati (although I wasn't too impressed).  I've heard good things about Flight of the Conchords.  Any thoughts?  Or any other suggestions from other networks?

Flight of the Conchords is hit or miss. Sometimes its hilarious. you just have to "get it".  Other summer shows:

Rescue Me on FX (you'd have to watch the other 3 seasons on DVD, great show)

Rock of Love on Vh1 - ex-strippers and soon to be B level porn stars live in a house and get wasted 24/7 in order to sleep with... Bret Michaels?

With my first summer vacation of not having a whole lot to do, I'm trying to get into some new shows.  I've had HBO for a little while now, and love Entourage, and tried John From Cincinnati (although I wasn't too impressed).  I've heard good things about Flight of the Conchords.  Any thoughts?  Or any other suggestions from other networks?

seems to be havent heard what they gave up....the nats and pirates serve as road kill every year for playoff teams to pick their bones clean

Ohhhhh LD11 that sounds like a rediculous good time.  TDT was looking at Jimmy B's tour schedule and saw the back to back days at the MGM Grand.  Plans were/are in the works for a trip in late October as well.

Also, TDT would like to offer up Juan Rincon, Carlos Silva, and Lew Ford to the Red Sox, Mets, Yankees, Angels, Cubs, Braves, or Orioles.  6 dozen baseballs and a year's supply of wings should suffice...

Buffett is playing consectutive Saturdays at the MGM actually, not consecutive days.

I really have to say that it will most likely be the demise of LD11.  Not sure if coming out a live is possible at all.

Thanks for the correction.  For some reason I was thinking Oct. 27 and 28 in my head.  When you combine the usual antics before/during/after a Buffett concert with the mayhem that is Vegas, things could get ugly.

I assume LD11 has seen Jimmy B and the Coralreefers before.  Where at and when?

TDT has seen him at Target Center in MSP twice and once in Fort Lauderdale.  I have heard his outdoor shows are redic (Fenway, Wrigley, Alpine Valley WI, etc).
