Thanks for the correction.  For some reason I was thinking Oct. 27 and 28 in my head.  When you combine the usual antics before/during/after a Buffett concert with the mayhem that is Vegas, things could get ugly.

I assume LD11 has seen Jimmy B and the Coralreefers before.  Where at and when?

TDT has seen him at Target Center in MSP twice and once in Fort Lauderdale.  I have heard his outdoor shows are redic (Fenway, Wrigley, Alpine Valley WI, etc).

JT made some nice coin on Buffet the past two years.  He saves a two for himself and go to at least one show.

LD11 has been to many a Buffett concert.  I think i've only been into the show like 3 or 4 times though since the parking lot usually does me in.  I've seen him at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA a bunch of times(probably 7 or 8).  Easily the best tailgating venue by far.  I went to see him in Vegas a few years ago and didn't make it into the show.  I saw him at Mohegan Sun 2 years ago and found me a nice young lady to play around with while also winning $4K in a state of blackout with a long blond wig on my head.

Buffett is a typical staple in my summer plans every year.  This year comes with a bit of surprise and happiness.

that would make sense except that gagne has been pretty vocal about being a closer.  could be trouble in the clubhouse.

check that - olney reports that gagne is cool with being a set up guy:

"agreed to be Boston's set-up man after the Red Sox restructured the reliever's contract."

whew - he should be a little flexible.  to get traded to a division leader with 1/3 of the season to go?  not a bad deal for EG.
