Rolevio doesn't believe Clement was a bad signing,  for the half-season he was healthy he was good enough to be selected to the All-Star game.  Then his body imploded.  He was prone to a few minor problems but noone could see a career ending injury coming.

Not sure TGP agrees.  Sox paid Clement big money ($9.5 mm - more than Beckett is making now) and he played in 44 games, having a 18-11 record with a 5.59 ERA.

In an unrelated development, FFMRT decided to tell RT she'd "had enough" and started to pack when all of RT's friends/wives were in town for the weekend. Completely selfish timing and RT somehow talked her off the ledge. We've been communicating today but RT is feeling like he needs to sit down w/ her once and for all and put this thing to bed. RT has not been looking forward to this moment

Why prolong this any further?  Are you a sadist, a masochist, or both?  She knows its over.  You know its over.  LLPP knows its over.  Are you worried about her feelings?  You've already hurt her feelings, so forget about that.  And she has not only hurt your feelings, but she's hurt you finaincially, socially, and other ways that I cannot think of at the moment.
