Bust out your hockey helmets folks going to get very ugly on the markets open....traders are now betting the fed has an emergency meeting to cut interest rates....otherwise the next 12 months are flat out going to be ugly....head to the sidelines if you havent and sit in cash baby...

amateur hour talk.....unless you need to cash out and buy a Porche in the next 2 months, investors with a long term horizon realize that this is normal course and speed of the market over time. Besides, why would RT cash out and subject himself to all the capital gains taxes now of his market gains over the last few years?

PBR...

because rt if you were smart like myself and saw the tech trends 3 mos ago the looming credit crunch you slowly reversed your portfolio and shorted the market so you had some gains the last year and now are about to give some back while pbr will be doubling up his gains again....amateur hour.....ppppfffffff.....go back to watchin those fools on cnbc and lou dobbs

Go read Burton Malkeil's "Random Walk Down Wall St.". Investing 101. You can tweak your portfolio regulary...or you can put together the adequate investment mix upfront for your horizon and level of risk.

Option #3- go pay someone 1-2% to do it for you....and actually knows what they are doing.

realistic

nice to see all of the teams fellas.  Realistic has a question though.  Is there a specific reason you guys pick so early?  Realistic's in 2 leagues and we don't pick 'til the 22nd and 26ht.  Just curious.

reg...now that hurts...pbr's company is the largest trading system the every trader worth a grain of salt uses.  fyi the fed just stepped in and just opened up the discount window and stuffed 19 billion in to the system and went long on mbs dropping the fed funds rate to 5.375  after it opened at 6%.

JT, pardon my ignorance here......but does anyone know if the LL has a Media Day??  Should not be that difficult to organize geographically.

Not sure if they have one.

PBR...

whose got playas available for trades in the LLPPFFL?

Regulator

Why does that hurt PBR?  What does it matter to you whether RT or Merrill Lynch trades with you? (forgive my ignorance here...I have no idea about this stuff, which is why I go to somoene who does it for me and do exactly the opposite of what RT says)

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.
