props to JT for having vince young AND kitna. Personally I was a little hesitant to take either one, but with both you just have to start the right guy the right week.  Expect a lot of 2nd guessing yourself on monday mornings.

Re: early draft. I don't know, I just needed to get this thing started.  my $$ league doesn't draft until a few days before the 1st game!

PBR, trades already?  give it some time, let the FF market get started. This year the league has veto power on trades so teams can't dump their roster when they aren't going to make the playoffs.

PBR...

damon huard is fightin for the startin position w/ croyle supposedly a dead heat (no pun intended)...hmmmm....pbr was really considering taking calvin johnson as the reviews of him so far have been fab....but it just seems that it takes rookie wr's 1+ yrs to get comfortable in the league w/ learning the new off. system and learning defenses

Calvin Johnson was picked by the system before KS was able to connect.  KS thinks he is worth keeping.  He can sit a few weeks while KS sees how he is doing.  KS thinks Brian Leonard is a little bit of a strech but could figure for short yardage TD's.

Was surprised Kitna was available at #99... good value.  Larry Johnson at #3 was a computer pick, cable modem hosed and had to be rebooted.   I probably would have picked him, hope he's just a camp holdout.  Ahman Green was another computer pick cause JT couldn't make up his mind. Owen Daniels was a brain fart pick, cause I wanted and could have had Greg Olsen.   McNair, Morency are backups and/or trade bait.

haha Calvin Johnson with Mike martz on his side is going to be a brilliant pick

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

JT, pardon my ignorance here......but does anyone know if the LL has a Media Day??  Should not be that difficult to organize geographically.

Not sure if they have one.

There wasn't one.  It's more difficult to organize then you'd think, since with Susquehanna joining the group, the league stretches from Central PA all the way to Canada and over to Boston (WPI).

After all it is on 2007, not like there are things like conference calls, video meetings etc.  Probably not too hard to put together if someone took the initiative.

Union and Hobart still rely on snail mail and telephones w/out conference lines to conduct all business.  They wouldnt know how to do anything else.

What are these telephones you speak of?  Rolevio has a calligrapher write all his correspondence.

JT

This is what JT uses to have meetings with people around the world.  They could have a central location for Media Day.  Those that can make it will.  Those that can't can use something like this:

https://www.gotomeeting.com/

Plus the audio gets recorded, so you can give the media the mp3.  I'm going to recommend it to the NJAC Commish right now.

KS used to use go to meeting on his last job, works very well. A lot of support centers use it.
