Announcer on ESPN doing the Miss St LSU game about MS going for it on 4th down.  "The quarterback really needs to ride the center on the sprint play."

And ride him hard.

We'd all be like royalty in Mississippi.

Fact: The average person in Maryland, New Jersey and Conn. makes three times as much as the average person in Mississippi.

Fact: The average person in Maryland, New Jersey and Conn. makes three times as much as the average person in Mississippi.
FACT: The average cost of living in MD, NJ & CT is probably >3X of someone in MS
Avg. 3BR 2.5BA in jackson ms.= $90k
Avg 3BR 2.5BA anywhere in MD, NJ & CT >$350

Did they teach you this kind of stuff in susquehanna or just expect you to learn it while riding the John Deere bailing hay?

Fact: Butter is surprisingly not completely affected by the >3X rule.  Apparently, the world sucks at paying farmers, so everyone gets low prices on butter, milk and cheese.

Fact: This happens to also lower the average starting salary of most susquehanna graduates.

Fact: We need to pay more for butter so the starting salaries increase.

Baltimore Sun, Aug. 29, "Maryland is ranked as richest state"

"Demographers note that while Maryland took the top slot last year, its median income was not statistically different from New Jersey's at $64,470. Maryland's income was nearly three times that of the nation's poorest state - Mississippi.

The figures come from the American Community Survey, which, unlike the once-per-decade census, are an estimate rather than a true head count. The tally includes jurisdictions of 65,000 or more and, for the first time, includes people who live in group quarters, such as nursing homes, prisons and college dormitories."

Did you pull that statistic out of your ass? They did teach us to research and support so-called facts at Susquehanna. Your cost of living argument is irrelevant since the COL is dependent on average household earnings and economy. Despite a cheap COL in Mississippi, its residents are inherently poor. Wouldn't one rather have more and pay more than have less and pay less?

In about half of the counties it would be, the rest it would only be about 60,000-75,000

FYI: I don't want to bust your bubble -- you seem to be assuming yourself quite handily -- but there's no agriculture program at Susquehanna, nor are there many rural students. Not that there isn't anything wrong with that; I'd rather a school of hicks than conceited crumb bums like yourself. Just as I'd rather be dead in Pennsylvania than alive in New York State.
