NNR thinks college football should take on European soccers brilliant Idea... When a team wins a title they should move up a division...

NNR wants to see Mt. Union move up. They can not accomplish any more at this level and should be challenged a little more.

Ap. State... maybe a kick up. It will never happen but what do you guys think. Would Mt. Union compete against a team like Duke or Eastern Michigan? NNR believes the Mount could beat several D1 schools and would like to see them scheadule 1 or 2 for some national respect for D3

If not this, d3 should at least adopt the new European soccer phenomenon in which one fan from each team gets to announce the game together.  Apparently, when you are watching a game over there you can switch the audio from the real announcers to two yahoos sharing a box and making fun of each other's team.  The internet radio ratings would skyrocket.

Rolevio thinks this needs to be implemented for the Shoes.

There needs to be a mandate that the fan announcers must be at least a six-pack deep in ML

that would be great....though RPI could put 'gro, reg and LD11 in the booth and they can just bust on each other and ignore the game.  Still very entertaining.

- 'gro nice props from the Guru.

RT doesn't think that would fly w/ the Guru when we're broadcasting the Union/Springfield game this Sat night. Will be a video cast so the LL faithful will get a chance to see RT in action while paired w/ the esteemed John McGraw for the first time. This works out well for RT...get to see RPI treat Endicott like Mike Vick on a pitbull then can mosey over to Schenectady for a night game

Don't worry Frank, RT won't accept any appearance fees for doing your broadcasts with you.....RT does some pro bono work for less fortunate media folks

True, StLarry is a seasonal poster, won't even try to hang with the pro's of LLPP until the Larries themselves can string together a few winning seasons.  Should have a good offense this year assuming our O-line holds up.

Brown and red is back in style in Larryland as of last year.

Nah, you are a regular broadcaster, so they would be in the "alternate booth"

good luck Saturday, should be a good game, E8 v LL.

The only european thing Mount should do is tell their female students to not shave their legs and pits... then maybe they won't get any more good recruits.

Having been Alliance, OH tweece, JT would say that Kehres is the drawing card, not the women.  Generally just average... don't see a Girls of the OAC Playboy issue in the future.

That is definately what would happen.  We would also field calls from people watching the game and listening in from home.  Rumor has it that we would also set up some kind of crazy halftime stunt that would probably get us thrown in jail or somehting.

haha - make it happen.  Anything is possible with the internetweb thingy.

Well the Upstate coaches have Alfred tied with Union and ahead of RPI and only a few points behind Hobart (a team they lost by 1 TD last year and who supposedly lost all these starters)  I dont think predicting Alfred to be that high is that rediculus.

But he should have backed it up you are right.

This whole thing is a silly crapshoot year to year when it comes to preseason predictions other than the usual suspects. The East Region is always wide open. Case in point, the beasts of the east, Rowan, laid an egg this past weekend so that threw a wrench into things.

Hobart will toil in the ranks of middle-tier this year in the LL. Their run is over. Phone it in. It will be RPI & Union slugging it out w/ UR sniffing at 3rd, followed by the Pumpkin-faces. RPI will finish higher than Alfred...phone that in too. Do it while you're on the same call as the first phone-in to save some connection charges.

Once again, RT asks the E8'ers if there's some sort of complex there. Why do you feel the need to come here and justify your rankings? Has the LL made a field trip to the E8 board to talk smack? RT knows enough useless stuff to put him on Jeopardy but there's a few things he knows for SURE: Alfred wouldn't be the top team in the LL,  Fisher won't make it past the first round of the playoffs (if they get there), and RT's fantasy team will be mantastic....

I dont think its about justifying rankings.  But if anyone predicts Alfred over the top 3 LL teams in here, you would think someone just accused Reg of having a weak 17 year old bench press or something.

U89 feels that in past weeks, Utah has been acting a bit odd.  Might he be playing the fence....is he a spy??  The next time LD goes to a Pat's game with Utah, U89 says we capture him and toture him until he unloads all the E8 secrets!!!!!!

The Rev is going to have to play LLPP Police:  Son, put the bong down and step away from the keg.

Hobart 4th in the LL?  Fella PLEEZE!

Is this how you defend the LLPP from the E8 interlopers...by cannibalizing other LL teams?  Throwing us to the dogs?

For shame, RT.  You wound us.

Whoa now fella.  Single sports can't move up because you might get scholarship athletes in one sport playing a 2nd sport and running shop (I guess this happened with Dayton track stars playing football when dayton was D3).

The only european thing Mount should do is tell their female students to not shave their legs and pits... then maybe they won't get any more good recruits.

Very true....those cheaters from Dayton beat us in the Stagg Bowl of 1990.
