New Question...

How annoyed will LD11 get this weekend watching the Sox at Camden Yards?  It is sure to be loaded with lots of Sox fans with 'brand new' hats...I might have to show them how we roll at Regulator Airlines.

Is anything more annoying than those "fans" who buy hats that aren't even in the team colors.  KS has seen more pink and yellow Yankees hats, WTF?  KS has seen the Pink, yellow etc colored Sox hats too.  Deesgusteeng

TDT has always been a traditionalist.  When he first saw the pink B hats or the NY in 47 different colors it was sickening.  Have they no shame?  The beauty of the MLB season is the September pennant race and the cool October nights.  Seeing the Fly by Night, "Oh its cool to be a Sox fan now", "My hat is a fashion statement, notice how the hat matches my skirt", is frankly repulsive.

Dear Regulator,

Tonite your beatdown begins.  Settle down with a bucket of MLs and admire the greatness that TDT is about to bestow on you.  If you feel so inclined you may attempt to hire Boog for the LLPP Shoeapalooza BBQ while at Camden Yards...

Its funny.  My buddy has seasons tickets to the sox and I usually buy about 4-5 gams a year from him.  Anyway, the seats are in section 28, about 20 rows from the field, maybe a section or two right of the right field foul pole.  Not great seats and you have to turn your head a little to see home plate, but it is pretty close to the field and you have a great view of plays in center and right field.

Anyway, every single time I see a game at those seats, and a pop up to center or left field comes up, the entire right field grandstand goes nuts like its going to be a home run.  It is 100% clear that the ball is going to be a pop-up but all these knuckleheads see is the ball high in the air.  It bugs the living shiz out of me for whatever reason.

Another funny story....

So my friend splits the tickets up mostly with his family with 2 tickets a game at $40 a piece ($6,480 for the year for you Union grads).  He pays by credit card at first and then pays off his card when he gets the cash for the tickets.  But for the playoffs, the Redsox send him a bill saying that he has to pay up front in cash or a money order (About 1K).  So he gets bullshiz and writes Larry Luccino a personal email.  Luccino sends him an email back saying that he was unaware of why there is a cash only policy, and that he would look into it and get back to him.  So my friend then gets a quick email from the head of the sox ticket office, who says its MLB policy that only cash is paid for all playoff tickets.  So my friend writes back complaining that he has had season tickets for a long time and that this is the first time theyve done this.  The ticket guy emails him back this wiseassremark about how he should have known and this and that.  So he writes back and CC's John Henry and Luccino again, with the wiseass remark from the ticket guy asking why such a loyal sox ticket holder should be answered back with such a wizeass remark.  Luccino responds with another personal email apologizing, and saying that he will personally get back to him as to why cash is the only way to pay and if there is anything he can do to help him out in paying for the tickets!!  Anyway, that was two weeks ago and Im not sure about how the emailing went from there....

JU, KS just went to the Yankees site and they accept cash, check, money order or credit card.
Ticket Info
Tell you buddy to email the smartazz ticket guy that the Yankees accept credit cards so he is full of shizz about MLB policy.  That should make the Sox office happy.

Tell your friend to get a job to work up enough money to personally go there and bounce the money off the head of the ticket office's head.  I don't see what he is so worked up about?  Is the 30 days he gets to pay off the debt that big of a problem or is getting a M/O too much of an inconvenience?

Reg hates when people have to to split stuff.  How do you decide who gets what game?  How about rain outs?

Hmmm, seems like a ton of bitching for not that big of a deal.  LD and U89 will gladly send a money order for Sox playoff tix and not even complain.

U89 has sat in those whackazz seat before in foul terrritory down the right field line....when the game ends, your neck is sore as hell!!!!!!!!

Reg can see someone getting fired for that whole email think over the money....
The administrative assistant!  What the h*ll is she letting emails like that into his inbox?

I mean, the only time Lucchino or Henry probably ever touch an email that involves anything less than $5million is when they run out of toilet paper and are in a pinch, so they print out the first thing they can find.
