It doesn't matter if Penn State isn't as good as their ranking, they are still miles ahead of ND.

Im not sold on Springfield.  I dont Union blowing them out, but I could see this contest going either way.  I say Springfield 28-17

Great minds think alike...U89 thinks this game will be closer than most people think....our Eastern fan polls are very similar also, aside from your silly WNEC vote.

U89 was enfuego last week....so far today U89 likes Oklahoma, Nebraska and Tennessee.

John McGraw

Remember, Union still hasn't named their starting quarterback yet - three are listed as starters on the depth chart...Ted Civetti, Jarred Gourrier and Andrew Catellier. Isaac Bailey, a transfer from Villanova, might see time at quarterback this season as well, but he's not listed for tonight's game. Two brand new starters at receiver and the fullback from last year (Tillo) starting in place of the graduated Arcidiacano.

While Springfield's defense has been suspect, Union's inexperienced offense needs to gel quickly.

These offensive losses have been documented at nauseum....one thing which is rarely mentioned is that 'da 'U' returns a ton on defense.  The 'D' will need to play well early to keep any NCAA hopes alive.
