Super has met FMtags...and the fact is Tags is one lucky son of a gun...not many women would drive 5 hours in the wee hours of the morning to Alliance, Ohio in the bitter cold when she has no alliance to the team...

thanks 57 ... -k

superman57

thanks tags.... Hopefully we get to make a similar trip this year...

Ok JU...you walk Jeter and you face who.... Abreu with the basesloaded and then A-Rod is up after that...not much of an option... you know a team is dangerous when your #7 hitter is a former MVP and 8 and 9 could be 2 or 3 for most teams

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Yep, that money certainly goes a long way.

I agree with you about the lineup - Drew is so overrated it's not funny, and he has been since he came out of FSU. Not sure why they won't take the pacifier out of Manny's  mouth and make him at least DH. That at least puts another solid bat in the lineup. And it looks like Youk and Crisp sat tonight. I'm not sure if Francona got the message but the yanks are within 2.5 and are beating the snot out of people.

The real deal is that you have a 2-1 lead in the 8th... you've got to be able to close the door at this point in the season.

I dont know why you dont walk jeter in that situation.  Horrible call by whomever (francona probably)

Was referring to the debacle this evening JU --- but yes Francona should have taken Schill out after 7. He threw a great game, he's weak after 6 as it is, and you go to Timlin / Okajima / Papelbon... in hopes you can manufacture a run.

That was poor coaching. We're coming unraveled.

Yea.  I say you walk the most clutch hitter in the history in baseball and take a chance with abreu with the bases loaded.  No frickin-brainer.

superman57

ehh...maybe, but then your just picking your poison...honestly if you get the basesloaded with Ortiz at bat you  need to win the game....sorry...Ortiz choked...is anyone else amazed with Melky's arm...even if you hate the yankees...which most of you do...the kid has an incredible arm...

How old are ya?  TDT was guessing about 32, but that is just a wild guess.  TDT conjures up a mental picture of what you clowns look like (besides the usual suspects whose mugs shots have graced the LLPP) if he were to ever run into you in Boston or at the Shoes game.

BTW: Don't forget to check out our newest venture www.johnniefootball.com.  TDT is a contributor and we are just getting things off the ground.  Should be fun.

Yes, he's got a great arm.

No, Ortiz didn't choke. Rivera is one of the best closers ever, and threw his signature hard cutter and jammed Ortiz. That's just the result of a good pitch.

Ortiz (like Jeter) is one of the most clutch hitters in the game.......

And after seeing this clip I can only use the phrase that only a Cortland Grad could come up with..........

Taste it.

Whoa the LLPP blew up this afternoon.  REG: WTF were you doing counting your shoes?

TDT-
Everywhere Reg went today he was tripping over shoes....his closet, the garage, his office...SHOES EVERYWHERE.  Reg needed to downsize his collection.

PS- +1k on the Allen Edmonds.  Best investment a guy can make.  (they are worth it)

U89 dont worry.  Chances are good that they even owe you more money than you got back.  I actually got my refund back today coinsedently (yep, Im going to leave that spelling up there)  I found out 2 years ago that you have up to three years to file your taxes if you are getting money back.  And I like getting my check around now so I wait and my taxguy actually likes it.

moral of the story...spend $500 on a tax lawyer.....

U89's tax man is getting a call tomorrow am....U89 may still be naked and crying like a b!tch or Superman still though...

I wasn't crying...I had something stuck in my eye

I hope it wasn't your thumb...That's normally up your az............I was saying...Hope everyone is having a great night!

Reminded me of Grady Little with Pedro in Game 7 of the ALCS in 2003.

KS thinks that kid that has been taking playing time from Drew is going to be a good one, can't think of his name.
