Heading out to beautiful Geneva tomorrow on Sat.  Should be an intruiging game.  Lots of conflicting stats.  Certainly RPI has not faced the level of competition that Hobart has however on paper this looks like a close game.

Be interested to see:

If the RPI D is really that stingy
If the RPI passing game is as good as it has looked
If they can eliminate some of the penalties that have killed them in their first two games
If they can contain the Hobart QB
If they can run the ball a bit more consistently
How the Hobart LB's deal with 4 wides
If the young secondary can play solid
If the front 4 can do some damage

Wakefield was an ex-first baseman signed like 15 years ago.  How the HELL is he considered 'bought'?  If he isn't the face of the Red Sox franchise, I don't know who is.  You are delusional.

KS has to agree with LD here.  Wakefield has been with the sox so long he can now be considered home grown talent.  KS is invoking the longevity clause for Wakefield.  He will always be remembered by beisbol fans as a red sox player.

SO if RPI wins this week, do you think they will get more than 11 top 25 votes?  I mean, Hobart lost to Dickinson, and then won by a point and got 11 votes too.  Do atleast those 11 votes go to RPI???  Hmm...???

RPI tends to not break into the top 25 until week 6 or 7...

Ok if KS is giving Wakefield the ok...we should make a different category for players like Wakefield and Varitek...GDD great devlopment deals.... It claisfy's them as a home grown player who didn't start with that team but made their only significant moves with their team

Honestly they haven't beaten anyone yet, plus they were apparently not on the Radar in the preseason.  Hobart was on the Radar and therefore has stuck around.

If RPI wins this week, I would say they gain quite a bit of votes, but probably will not leap into the top 25

For some reason I can't stop laughing at the idea of jet packing all hammered onto the field...

Alfred has beaten Thiel and St. Lawrence and has 57 votes...go figure...they aren't really powerhouses...
