Awful 3rd quarter for SLU.  QB threw 4 pics in a span of 4 passes.  UR puts a TD away.

I was pulling for the Larries.  Sounds like a great game.  Would like to see St. Lawrence eclipse that hump some year.  They seem to get close each year, then drop games like this that they probably should win.  That kinda throws the league for a little loop.  I think it's funny how you write off Union then look at the standings and they are 2-0 in the league.  That Union-Hobart game could be huge.

the coaching staff especially the offense needs to go....pbr luvs joe and everything he has stood for i.e. academics over football but he is covering up for his kid at qb coach and off. playcalling....joe will not replace or move him. joe is dead set on his coaches as they all have been w/ him forever. and the board of trustees are pretty much all appointed by joe so he is basically going no where until he decides he wants to go somewhere. pbr just doesnt want his image tarnished by having the game pass him by. also morelli at qb is really struggling w/ audibles and reading defenses. the combination is awful because their defense and special teams are fantastic this year. pbr would like to see pat devlin put in at qb he is going to be very good assuming joe and jay keep their hands off of him.

Did you guys see that Mt. Union vs. Heidleburg score?  62-3.  Someone at Mt. Union should have told the tenth string to sit down and let the eleventh string get some play time.  Damn, this is almost criminal.

Or how about the Wash/Jeff vs. St. Vincent: 64-6.  Mercy!

Or Olivet vs. Wisconsin Lutheran: 62-2.

There were also a few games 42-0.  And several other high-scoring stompings.

Superman, this thread has run it's course but my closing comment is that, yes, I'm a firm advocate of defending one of your own but this is post patterns and his method was cheap, amateur, and excessively personal and antagonistic. Those kinds of provocations got RT into a lot of scuffles in his younger, hasty days
