What did I tell you? Was that a beatdown or what? That one official, Thul, pronounced "TOOL" called other phantom penalties too. How do you call a "High Sticking" when the stickee lifts the stick of the sticker into his own face? Even the Minnesota announcers thought the last call was questionable at least. One said he might not have called anything, but certainly not a major. I feel for you guys on that one. RPI looked good.

LD11 went to a local HS football game last night.  Hoggard HS is ranked 3rd int he state of NC.  They are GOOD.  It was seriously like Friday Night Lights.  Probably 10,000 people there.  Hoggard had a RB who had 20 carries for 222 yards and 4 TDs and is a JUNIOR.  He looked kinda like Reggie Bush looked in College and he had some size too listed at 6'1" 215lbs.  He was 3 steps faster than everyone on the field.  They won 41-21 and I hate to say it, but the team who lost, probably could beat every HS team in MA and NY.  They had a stud RB too who ran for 214yds and 2 TDs.  Was not impressed with the QBs at all though. 

Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of play.  Their size was much like a d3 game.  One of the lineman, who also won Homecoming King at halftime, was 6'6" 315lbs.  Big dude.

LD11 heard Billerica(MA) who is supposed to be a powerhouse this(#4 in MA) year got knocked off last night by Dracut.  Good to hear.  I always hated them.
