Dood.  The Rev knows we pick on you too much for your fast and loose use of the English language and The Rev hates to pile on to you like a hyena feeding on stank carrion, but...

"Curry...will be never forget that" is just as bad, if not worse, than what I used to hear on a daily basis in Korea.

The Rev feels terrible, but he couldn't let this one pass.  The Rev is going to go pray for you now.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

pg04

Well technically it wasn't about your spelling, it was a horrible mish mash of words that didn't make sense together.

But as you say it's quite obvious you don't care.

Uhhhh, . . . . yeah.  He's in the Federal Penitentiary.  All he has is time.  But you're right, given that he's a hopeless loser of a fraud, AND he's wasting taxpayers' time with these lunatic court petitions, I say we should put him out of the taxpayers' misery.

I never understand what SuperHeinz57 have Englishly the word postable.  For duh!

Supes, you need to mellow out a little bit here, m'boy.  The running joke about your horrible typing is long established.  We are going to continue to mention it because it is part of the LLPP repitoire.  You need to accept this in your heart, not just in your signature line.  Accept the LLPP in your heart!

Son, if I didn't like you, would I have compared you to rotting animal carcass and then prayed for your linguistic redemption?  Surely not.

XO,
The Rev

The Rev was supposed to do some work tonight.  Normally, when The Rev sits down at the computer to work, he loses an hour or so of productivity by reading LLPP and D3 foosball dot com, and checking the photos of cheerleaders KS links and the videos 'Gro, et al., link.

Tonight The Rev lost a good two hours of productivity because, when The Rev sat down to type, he chose to listen to Frank Zappa's You Can't Do That on Stage, Vol. 1 featuring the song Mammy Anthem with Steve Vai on "Stunt Guitar."  So The Rev gets this bright idea, "Rev," The Rev said said to himself, "Let's look up Frank Zappa on You Tube."

Two hours and an unknown number of videos later, The Rev realized that he has urinated away half of the night and forgot that he had laundry down in the laundry room.

God bless YouTube, and God bless Frank Zappa!

Stick a fork in it - I've lost confidence in Francoma to even get these guys fired up enough not to lose the final 13 games of the year.

Ahh ya know what, Francona has lost maybe 5 games for the sox this year.  But I still think hes looking at the long run.  They still have basically clinched the playoffs, and he has to test some pitchers and players out still to see if they can help them where it matters the most and thats the playoffs.  And lets not forget that the yankees lineup (7 of 9 starters bought) are better than the (5 of 9 starters bought) that the redsox have.

Hey,
Just pointing out that the above was the last time I was on the LL board. I mean, uh, er, K-Mack had last been on the board ... you know what I mean.

Anyway, interesting hindsight.

I stopped by to see if you guys had this final two weeks thing figured out, or if I could be of assistance. If you do, you can probably help me :)

Oh my GOD!!!

This is ridiculaslee great.  It's almost like they practiced this play by watching Rugby Union Football.  Has any one ever seen anything like this before?
Stlarry personally like's the part when the lineman ends up with the ball looks arount like "wtf?", and then just chucks it over his shoulder with out looking...and it goes right to one of his teammates.  Now way they could do that ever again and get all of the bounces to go their way.

Did you see the part at the end after Curry takes off for the end zone, one of the Trinity guys blows up some poor winded Millsaps kid.

I didn't even notice that until someone pointed it out.

The big game of the week was Hobart beating Alfred, hands down.

TGP offered the modest assessment that Bart would put it past Fred by a couple of points.  Bart remarkably stomped on Fred's balls.  The Rev is still waiting to read the reports, but it could not have been a pretty game for the Saxons.

I hope the front page of D3 foosball dot com will have a poll asking for the upset of the week, and include the Hobart victory.

Watch out, Onion.  I hope the Dutchmen aren't resting on the laurels of having won the Hobart game for the past few years. Hobart has built up full-steam and now that the Statesmen beat the Saxons, they have some real momentum going.  Should be an interesting game in Troy next week.  Schenectady?  The Rev can never keep it straight which school is in which town.  Both towns make Geneva look downright hoity-toity...which is sad.

By the way, props to Onion for having its two toughest LL rivals at the very end of the season.  That makes for some exciting ball with big impact on pool A vs. C bids.

Frank Rossi! Counselor, what are the playoff implications, if any, of Hobart beating Alfred?  Has this ruined Fred's automatic A pool bid?

Rev,

Congrats on the win today v. Alfred.

As for Pool A implications, Alfred still controls their own destiny for the automatic bid.  If they can win the last 2 against Ithaca and Fisher they get the automatic.  That will be a very tough task though, since both games are away and Ithaca is playing great right now.

The loss today @ Hobart kills them for a pool C at-large bid.  If they beat IC but lose to Fisher, Alfred will finish at 8-2.  Pool C chances would be slim I think.  Especially since they might be competing for a spot against Hobart, which beat them head-to-head.

OK,
That's kind of like what I was working on. But then I stopped because it looked hard and re-watching the Trinity video seemed like more fun.

Here's what I had:

Four Liberty League teams are still in the mix, and they all play other top four teams in their final two games.

So let's work it out.

RPI 5-0, 7-0 vs. Rochester, at Union; earlier 35-31 at Hobart
Union 5-0, 5-2 vs. Hobart, vs. RPI; earlier 13-7 win at Rochester
Hobart 4-1, 6-2 at Union, at Rochester; earlier 35-31 loss to RPI
Rochester 4-1, 5-3 wins at RPI, vs. Hobart; earlier 13-7 loss vs. Union.

OK, so let's look at the possibilties.

RPI and Hobart win out; RPI wins.
Union and Rochester win out; Union wins.

RPI and Rochester can't both win out, since they play. Same with Union/Hobart, Union/RPI and RPI/Union, Rochester/Hobart.

OK. That was the easy part. Now. From the top.

If RPI beats Rochester, loses to Union ...

Good Lord, there's no way I'm doing this at this hour. I'll do it for the column or something if we can't figure out all the scenarios beforehand. There's how many possibilities ... someone that's good at math, help a brother out.

Well, K-Mack, there's 4 games in question and only 2 possible outcomes for each game (thank you overtime rules).
24=16

Here's the best I can break it down:
RPI beats Union AND Rochester loses (at least) 1 - RPI wins AQ.
Union beats RPI AND Hobart loses (at least) 1 - Union wins AQ.
Hobart wins 2 AND RPI loses 2 - Hobart wins AQ.
Rochester wins 2 AND Union loses 2 - Rochester wins AQ.

The following will result in a 3-way tie, and I do not know the LL tie-breaker:
Rochester wins 2 AND Union beats Hobart AND RPI beats Union (Rochester/Union/RPI tied at 6-1)
Hobart wins 2 AND RPI beats Rochester AND Union beats RPI (Hobart/Union/RPI tied at 6-1)
