A free gift to anyone who can help RT get all of his tunes working in his iTunes library. RT switched to a new laptop and brought over all of his music from the old one to the new one. RT "authorized" the new laptop from the tool bar up top. When he clicks on some of his purchased tunes to play them, he gets a gray window that pops up asking for his apple account and password. RT dutifully enters this info but then it keeps popping up again asking for the same shizz when RT tries to play said tune. It's IMPOSSIBLE to find any way to talk to someone on the iTunes sight and RT is not going to try to pour through all kinds of online discussion forums....Red is not a happy Tackle right now.

ok, so tell RT how to retroactively fix this, assuming he didn't do it this way, without having to uninstall and reinstall iTunes again....

KS is wondering if anyone knows of a manufacturer who makes a triple combo unit.  DVD, DVR and VCR all in one.  KS still has VHS tapes that the Stalkerette watchs but KS is not going to buy again on DVD.

Whoa--I'd be pissed if somebody popped up asking for mine, too.   :D

Seriously, I seem to remember this exact issue being discussed by the Washington Post's techno-guy, I'll do some digging through his archives to see what he has on the subject.

Have you asked digital radio goddess Kim Komando? She's usually my first stop when I"m trying to track down an answer.  komando.com

Budcrew - You might have missed Dawg's post awhile back with his current office layout.  Dawg reorganized a bit for a more "Post Pattern-Friendly" work environment.  Check it out and if you need any add'l ideas just let the Dawg know, esp. if your work area isn't in an office or cubical setting.  Make sure you read the important notes on said layout too.

I have been looking but it appears that the diagram was deleted.

Tags believes Samsung & Toshiba make a VHS / DVD-R ... probably many others, try Philips & Sony as well. Its probaby a good be that they are all up to speed on those at this point.

Stalkerette should be able to not only watch VHS but KS could transfer the favorites over to DVD.

RE: i-tunes library to a new laptop

Tags just purchased a new laptop himself, and would like to know how to transfer i-tunes over... haven't even attempted yet but would like some quick "how-to's" from the LLPP if they'd be willing to share.
