nice to see the smack talk starting to ramp up leading up to the game.

Seriously, things were getting way to civil in here.  Still waiting on some good 'ol FR-RT/RS81 battles to erupt.  This is Stlarry's entertainment for the week, so hopefully things will liven up a bit...

St. Larry -

R

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to really go head first into the whole "Shoes" battling during the actual week.

P

This is the case for several reasons, that I guess I should share:

I

1) Union will be hosting the only video webcast of the game this weekend, so the announcers should try to stay somewhat in the middle.

S

2) The playoff/LL Championship scenarios will be dominating most of my time.

U

3) Since we're hosting a bi-lateral pregame show (with RT), we need to promote the rivalry instead of dogging the opposition.

C

4) The rivalry jabbing is better left to the guys who played in this series.

K

5) Since I'm friends of both coaches' families, I just don't feel right choosing sides.

S

I hope this isn't too much of a disappointment for you or the rest of the LLPPers this week.

!!!

I'm letting RT produce the broadcast with a little directional guidance from me -- our writer is on strike with the Screenwriters in Hollywood, so we may have to resort to reality-based pregaming.  So, carbombs would be required in that case.

Reno Hightower

Frank,

Reno doesnt think the score of the Hobart/Rochacha game should be announced to the crowd during the game.

Well, that's not Frank's domain.  He's only broadcasting -- and very few people in the stands are listening along.  Frank wants to provide a one-stop shop for LL Championship scores, while focusing the most emphasis on the Shoes game.  One thing to realize is that Union's game will get over after Rochester's -- Union's will most likely have TV timeouts attached, slowing down the game.

AGASAP UPDATE!!!

So in Vegas, LD11's buddy apparently shared a smooch with a girl there, and exchanged phone #'s.  He has a GF but they really aren't on the greatest of terms.

So...upon arriving at home, she says someone 'sent her a weird email saying he hooked up with a girl and exchanged phone #'s'....WEIRD!  It was all dudes.  All discrete.  Who would do that?  Not any of us.  Anyway, it all seemed too close to the truth, and my boy buckled...he caved...he admitted it!!!

So, a few days later, the break up is on.  It's over with.  He asks 'so, you can atleast tell me who sent you the email?'

...

'I made it up'...!!!

PSYCHO!!!

This goes to show you, as always, ALL GIRLS ARE SNEAKY AND PSYCHO!!!

My take on the matter???  She was hooking up with someone, and in an attempt to deflect guilt, she blamed him, but he was an idiot and fell for it, therefore, he looks like the bad guy to everyone.

Write that down.

PBR...

frank can show a little luv to the LLPP and talk about the "good" natured ribbing leading up the game and give d3football.com some props...LD can even do his box gig for the viewers at home....

LD11 is just realizing how painful it was to write his last post...

It's science.

Only recent science.  The advent of email and text messaging makes the scenarios more plausible so that we're not really sure how much truth is in a statement like that when posed at us.  I've juked such info in a couple relationships in similar fashion.  Generally, the non-cheater's view is to trust your instincts and if you're wrong -- then the other person won't be upset for too long about the whole "lack of trust" issue.

When phones and letters were the only communication methods for relaying cheating info, juking that info out of one's mate was not really simple.

Knightstalker

Frank,
Take it from someone who has been there before the advent of email and texting and the pyscho women used to try it by claiming to have been "told" or "seen" etc.  They were pyschos before technology and will be pyschos after armagedden and all technology is gone.  It's Science.
