FYI - Gro crapped his pants Saturday night...

not so fast my friend.  after a day of drinking and eating roast pig and ruck wings... gro had some business to attend to around midnight.  LD of course jumps in there 1st to whiz, then starts brushing his teeth! Gro yanks LD out of the bathroom and proceeds to spackle the inside of the bowl.  It was not pretty. I looked like Jeff Daniels in dumb and dumber. A shower immediately ensued.

the pants survived the ordeal, which was good since they were the only pair I brought home and I don't think the TSA allows passengers to carry on poopy pants.

Yes, it's the playoffs and were talking about poop at LLPP Inc.

Who flips out because they have to poop so bad at midnight on a Saturday, then immediately hops in the shower?  It's obvious that you pooped your pants and needed to rinse them off in the shower.  I just puked in my mouth.

JT

You guys kill JT.

However, JT has hopped in the shower on occasion just like gro.  Sometimes you want to avoid a case of swampazz later on.  Those White Castle, wings, pork sandwich, and beer dumps are not to messed around with.

Obviously the NCAA committee has pegged RPI as a sacrificial lamb to TCNJ. Otherwise, how could anyone explain a second round meeting in THE EAST REGION that would require paying for a plane (on Thanksgiving weekend no less). RPI is over the NCAA 500 mile limit from Mt. Union (507 to be exact) while TCNJ is only 404.

Last RT checked, we didn't have a bye this week. I would stop the MUC talk right now because we have business to take care of in Troy on Sat and this TCNJ team has a chip on their shoulder. And even if RPI and MUC both win, who gives a flying f*ck if we have to go to Alliance. Bring it on, that's why we play the game. RT would've given his only teste to be playing football on Thanksgiving weekend, much less against the #1 team in the land, when he was roaming the gridion of Troy in the early 1990's.  Go ask the Stinger how he feels about Mt.Union being in our region and, after ripping your head off and stuffing it down your neck, he'll do the Lou Holtz thing and talk about how tough it's going to be to beat TCNJ, positioning RPI as the underdog (as we like it)

Time to run the table....

Wait a minute........
From the too much information department.....

Does RT really have only one nut??

Nah Nah, he was cool.  He was driving us, so he couldn't drink at Gepetto's, so instead of hanging, he took a nap at the bar.  He was fine once we got in the car.  Thanks to him trying to get us out of there, we didn't get beaten by cops.

Thankfully, the ECAC finally released the pairings...We've known since Saturday night that Union had a legitimate chance at an ECAC bid, once we learned that Ithaca withdrew.  My guess is the Coast Guard either withdrew or someone here was right about some arcane NEFC Championship exclusionary rule.

There are always mixed emotions about a 5-4 team getting a "postseason game," even in Division I-A, but for all those on the fence about Union receiving a bid, I can say that this is actually a great thing.  Saturday's loss hurt all involved a lot -- you could see it on the players' and parents' faces.  It was tough for players to take off their pads for the final time under the circumstances on Saturday.  So, Union gets a chance for redemption and a chance to let the seniors walk off the field as champions once more, even if the letters on the cap will say ECAC instead of NCAA.  It could provide an ending that is representative of a team that went to the second round of playoffs in '05, the first round in '06 and that rebuilt mid-season from an 0-2 team to a 5-2 team.

So, I would ask, much like I'm rooting hard for RPI over their run this year to play hard and win, for everyone to throw their weight behind Union.  Cortland is no pushover and plays in a great conference.  Yet, RPI and Union have a chance to show the country that the LL has an edge on the NJAC this weekend.

GO U!

Let's also not forget to throw our collective weight behind RT in support of the 3 proposals that he has out to customers for year end. Let's show that RT can put together winning deals against the competition and that RT has an edge over other competing salesmen in Upstate NY. RT lost 2 deals in Oct and it was painful so RT would like to end the year a winner....

Re: Too Much Information

you see, this is how "sh!t" gets started. Someone types something, then Gro's good name is "soiled".  That "stinks" LD, don't be such a "turd". Gro needed to "wipe" the record clean about saturday night. Sorry to "dump" all this personal info on the board, but LD is trying to run a "smear" campaign on Gro.

p.s. feces.

hey Frank, part of my discussion with coach Reynolds was that Union played a solid schedule and congrats for having a shot at the championship even with a 5-3 record at the time of the shoes (those might not be my actual words but that was the intention).  Good luck in the ECAC's. RPI handled the dragons last year, another LL smack down would be nice.

Coach Reynolds is a class act and has been with Union through a couple of Head Coaches.....he takes losses VERY hard.

Much agreement there.  He and his wife, along with the entire Audino family and the rest of the coaching staff have been a very large reason I've stuck around for the number of years I've been around the Union Football program.  It's one big reason I'm glad we've all stopped lobbing insults toward the different coaches over the last few years on here as, in the case of RPI and Union (since I lack knowledge on most other coaching staffs around the league), those comments were undeserved.

I'll have a post about listening and any viewing options for this weekend's ECAC game, once we have finalized those arrangements.  Anyone here going to make the trek to Cortland?
