Yeah, that's the one thing TGP dislikes about this site and D3 football in general.  A team like MUC is impressive no doubt, but it almost defeats having a tournament if the Champion is crowned even before the games are played. 

And if they win #10 in 15 years, hey, congrats to them.  But seriously, at what point does it make any more sense for MUC to remain a D3 school?

Hobart dominated D3 LAX for almost 20 years until the NCAA stepped in 94 to basically discourage D1 teams from playing D3 schools (back then Hobart's schedule was 9 games vs D1 opponents and 3 games vs D3 teams so they could still qualify for the D3 NCAAs), basically forcing Hobart stop dominating D3 and force them to go D1. 

Obviously the field is much larger for D3 football, but if the same team keeps rolling over everyone, after a while they become more a disservice to D3 competition than shining example of what's good about D3 football IMO.

Still up in the air on the pigroast...RT took a bit of a bath last week but it was fun and RT didn't mind but may not be jumping through hoops to do it for Saturday. RT has gotten less than 20 people to respond (unreal when you think about the fact it's an NCAA game and you get swine for $10) and RT is not going to bet on the come and plan for 50 people and collect half again. It's a phenominal product but we need to get more group support to put it on. Seriously...it was delicious. We would've added clam chowder and chili this week....
