Punt hits Bart player, SJF recovers DEEP inside Bart territory...

TGP has been on vacation since last Thursday and had to catch up on a lot of stuff on the LLPP.

The fake punt and the play mentioned above iced the game for the Cardinals.  Cragg is known for making some crazy calls, but that fake punt from the Hobart 5 took the cake.  Oh well, seemed like the better team won, although TGP honestly believes Cragg could have called a better game.

Hope everyone has a great T-day.  TGP will be enjoying his wine made out of sour grapes.

How soon we forget, TGP, 2004's LL Championship Game.

Hobart ball on its own 1.  4th and 11.  Fake punt.  First down Hobart.

My belief still is that it was a safety-option play call -- punter only completes fake if there's a chance of the first down; otherwise, punter takes intentional safety.  Those that disagree, though, must remember that Cragg liveth by the sword and dyeth by said sword.

Happy Turkey Day, TGP!

PBR...

To all LLPP'rs Happy Thanksgiving.....be safe everyone who is traveling and have a great turkey day. Pbr heads to the outlaws at high noon for the first sit down then pbr's parents late afternoon for the second king george feast...all the while handing the keys to mpbr while seeing if pbr's blood alcohol level can hit .3....

How was the fake punt run?  I do know that there are punt schemes where if a wide out is not covered or if only 2 men are on one side of the ball, the punter will fake it no matter what......

Just wondering if that was the case?

Ok, JU wants to buy himself a few presents for Chistmas this year but needs some LLPP advice......

I have an IPOD, and an XM radio for my car (EXpress kind).  Now I want to listen to both in my house with some speakers.  Is there something I can buy that will play both?  I know both have seperate boomboxes you can buy, but is there one that both can plug into?

And I know there is a simple adaptor for the XM radio, but is the quality good enough with just the FM signal? (I dont like it in my car, I use the tapedeck).

I use the XM in my home and my car, and I think the sound quality is definitely good enough with just the FM signal.
Not sure about the Ipod stuff though.

JU - check out the Altec Lansing IMX2 -- Small profile, but pretty good sound for a small room.  You can use an input cable for the iPod -- it's a device native to the XM2GO devices.  Altec Lansing is a pretty quality brand for portable audio speakers and headphones.
