Only thing that was disconcerting was Dick Clark... ouch.  Man was that uncomfortable.  We had to switch to Fox.

Nice to see DC spending some with the living instead of hanging out with other vampires.

New Years house party, good times. Guitar Hero 3 provided some hilarity.

TGP did his own version of Guitar Hero on NYE.  TGP's band opened up a NYE party at this rock club down the street.  Our set covered the usual:

Police, Zep, Foos, Audioslave, AIC, Jet, etc.  Very fun.

TGP and Mrs. P had dinner with some friends (short ribs, yum!) pre-gig, then hit the show.  Was back home by 9:30.  TGP then left at 9:30 AM NYD to head to the Rose Bowl for hours of tailgating, drinking, etc.  TGP even thinks there may have been a football game?

All in all, not a bad way to wrap up 2007 and head into 08.

It's so cold we had lows in the 20s, in Florida.  I had to scrape my windshield this morning which meant I had to find the stupid ice scraper I had in college.

On of the VT safeties was highlighted by the announcers towards the beginning of the game, they showed his major as "University Studies" is that the new way to say undeclared,or is it the replacement for the Underwater Basket Weaving major?  WTF are University Studies?

man pbr remembers having an accounting class at 8:30 friday morning....talk about rough after thurs. nights at the bars until 1 or 2 and finally getting to sleep around 3 or 4 getting up for class was brutal!! luckily pbr's teacher was very cool and let us be comatose in our chairs smelling strongly of alcohol screaming out of our bodies pores...
