You going to try and sneak into the SuperBowl?

As a matter of fact, The Rev is headed to Glendale tomorrow afternoon for a Superbowl party courtesy of some bigwig who owns a business at Rev's airport.

Rev knows TGP is a Pats fan, but The Rev is a Giants fan.

TGP, did you know that one of Wellington Mara's daughters went to WS a year ahead of The Rev?  Before I learned who her dad was, I always wondered, "Damn, why does this girl have so much Giants gear?"

DUH!!! REV

Nice.  Mara's are a big family.  A buddy of mine from Geneva married one of the Mara cousins (who also attended WS).

RT loves all the financial shell games going on in an election year...lower rates by the Fed...and the dumb thing is it will not fix the economy.  The credit industry created a bubble by making loans at inflated house values to anyone with a pulse.  That is now coming back to roost. Until that turd gets passed by ARMs finally timing out and people finishing up defaults and banks writing it all off.........then the stock market will not do well.

This pearl of wisdom is a preview of tonights show!!!

Did RT drop a subtle hint tonight on his talk show about his living situation when he mentioned that he 'used to live with a girl'???....

Ha, very perceptive Lewdoggie...

TDT was thinking that you and the Playa Hatas would chime in when the chatter was Spring Break and all the naughty sleezy women in these destinations.

Nah, it was a little too JV for the 11th St. Hataz.  We'd get in there and start talking about our times with Macho Man Randy Savage and Eminem and chicks with whistles and Regulator and Adam's Apples and all that crazy ish.  It was all political and financial.  A little too intelectual for LD11's taste on a Wednesday night.

Got out of work late tonight and just listened to the replay of 'The Think Tank'......

Great concept, but U89 thought week 1 was better.....some constructive criticism on topics:

- Not a mention of the Johan Santana deal
- Not much talk on the promised topic of Time Shares (was interested in that 1)
- Not much Super Bowl talk during the week of the game (Plex guaranteed a Giants win)
- No real political talk of Edwards & Giuliani dropping out
- LOTS of early financial talk as LD said and late toilet paper thoughts
- Head scratcher of the night from RT, "Guys, would you bang Jessica Simpson?"

U89 will try again next week to get involved....certainly kept U89 listening.

This post was so good TGP had to bring it in from the E8 hoops boards onto the LLPP.  BTW - our own Frank Rossi is currently in the lead to be the new E8 commish (kind of ironic, no?)

Well Stevens lost to something called Baruch out of conference last night.  No word yet if this will cause the Ducks to cancel future games against Atah and Adonai (maybe only Superman57 gets that, maybe not).

Indeed, Baruch appears to be a mediocre member of the Kosher Conference. Stevens would be hard pressed to beat Atah and Adonai.

Kosher Conference Standings
Adonai   13-2
Asher     11-4
Kideshanu   10-5
Bemitzvotav  9-6
Atah      8-7
HaOlam  7-8
Vitzivanu 7-8
Baruch  6-9
Eloheinu  4-11
Melech   0-15

Good feedback....RT will make sure that we get away from the politics and financial stuff and get more into the "fun" stuff. We need more callers to help drive the action. Next week will be an improvement.

The final Thong of the Day for January.

The Rev's top three for January: 15, 1 & 29, in that order.

Honorable mention to #3.
Add points for being in the kitchen.
Subtract two points for not being barefoot and pregnant.  OH!

From the 'Year In Review:  Where we missed' article from the front page, regarding DIII Alums...

'In the pro coaching ranks, some guy named Bill Belichick (Wesleyan) has the Patriots in the Super Bowl again, with a couple of John Carroll grads on his staff. But he still has to answer to some other guy, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell (Washington and Jefferson), every now and again.'

What about an RPI grad on his Staff???

Where is the love???  Don't know how you could miss THAT one!  Oh I know...RPI isn't in the OAC...

I don't think either of us makes a habit of perusing all NFL assistant coaches' bios.

The OAC fans talk about football and these assistant coaches on a regular basis.

Y'all talk about everything but football. Sorry if we don't remember the one football piece of information among all the BS.
