Im trying to bring d3football AND politics with a point here, and please let me know if Im going overboard.  But I would think a GOOD liberal would say

"The state of New Jersey will now add millions of dollars to all current d3football schools in the State, and we will cut welfare programs to those who have not been able to find a job after being on welfare for 10 years, in order to meet this goal."

Theres the liberal JU and JT would like.

As an RPI supporter given the last game I saw, D3 Football and NJ is a bit painful to say in one sentence....

From the Latrell "How can I feed my family on $20m a year" Sprewell file.....

Jose Canseco's home foreclosure (from ESPN.com)
Canseco told the syndicated TV show "Inside Edition" that he walked away from his
$2.5 million, 7,300-square foot home in suburban Encino because it didn't make sense to continue making payments.

"I do have a judgment on my home and it to me is very strange because it didn't make financial sense for me to keep paying a mortgage on a home that was basically owned by someone else," he said in an interview that aired Thursday.

"You know my life, this financial thing, is a very complicated issue. Obviously, when you make all that money, people think, 'OK, let's assume it is $35 million.' People have to understand that $35 million, you're paying the government 41 percent. That leaves you with about $17 or $18 million, not even. Then you're taking care of your whole family."

He added that a couple of divorces cost him $7 million or $8 million.

RT is really feeling bad for these guys....fame, broads, good 'supplements', money. Why do they have to be subjected to the same dramas that the rest of us losers are????? How is one supposed to take care of a family on $17m??????
At least celebs can still rub oil on their kids azzesss.....

Looks like Hobart flip flopped on the D3 lacrosse decision.  They are going back to D1 due to pressure from students and alumni.

Tis true.  The Prez of Hobart just couldn't keep HWS running without TGP's major contributions to the school, the football program and the LLPP.  TGP effectively ended his hold-out once the Chair of the BOT sent out the email saying that they were keeping Lax D1.

Should be a great game tonight.  ECAC.tv is webcasting if anyone cares to check it out.
