Looks like RPI has a decent class coming in..

Perhaps some of these new guys might compete for some playing time.  They return a bunch but could use a stud lineman or two on the O line.

Wondering if their recruiting success could be in part due to the new stadium/facilities.  Can't hurt.  Be interesting to see who rises to the top at QB as the season progresses.  Always am interested in programs that are faced with replacing a 3 nearly 4 year starter at QB

Larry Legend

Hello all. A bigger question is whether SLU will finally take the next step into breaking into LL supremacy. Some holes to fill, but also have some promising first team LL'ers returning. should be interesting to see.

Welcome to the LLPP.  Although TGP's is a Bart alum, TGP is a fan of Coach Phelps and roots for the Larries when they aren't playing Hobart.  SLU improving their program can only help the league.

JT

JT is back from a week in Cancun.  All went well.  Generally speaking the chicks that went topless were in fine form. Three of the best were from Italy.  JT called them the 6-pack.  However there were too many doods in banana hammocks.  Who told the EU that this is the look for old doods?

All in inclusive.  JT kept the drinks and tips rolling.  JT got the Irish um tan (what ever you get from SPF 50), MJT gets a tan people would kill for in 2 hrs. The only downside was running into a bunch of 9-11 conspiracy theorists.  They were stupifyingly stoopid.  Too bad JT didn't have an icepick to stick in their frontal lobes.  Gotta to thin the heard when one gets a chance.

All was going great at the pool bar.  Talking sports... What about Obama?  Is McCain too old? Then they went 9-11 which is still very close to JT, as he knows FDNY and NYPD suffering from the effects in addition to friends and associates lost on that day.

After a few encounters with these wackos over the years, JT now asks one question:

1) Have you read the entire 9-11 commission report?

No... well then JT doesn't discuss this topic with the uninformed. If they press.  These people pressed.  I don't discuss 9-11 with idiots.

These days you'd be lucky to get people to read a headline on a newspaper.

According to my ICQ, Frank is online right now.  Maybe he'll stop by the LLPP.

Was that Frank KS saw in the subway with the "I'll Litigate for Gas" sign?

PBR,  although I did not laugh when I saw that picture, that is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

In other news, there was actually some talk amongst Boston sports talk radio regarding the red sox looking at barry bonds.....

Even if the Sox dangled a lifetime supply of 'the clear' in front of Bonds, he would never play for Boston because Boston is extremely 'racist' in Bonds' twisted, overly inflated brain.  Why do you think they got rid of Babe Ruth?  he was part black!!!  DUH!

It's time to consult my beloved and respected LLPP brethren for some east coast tourist advice. Me, 2 sons and a friend will be in NYC July 21-26 to see the Twins vs. Yanks before the destruction of historic Yankee Stadium. Also plan on taking in a Mets game and fill in the rest of the time with typical tourist stuff.
I'm looking for suggestions on decent hotel accomodations that won't cost an arm and a leg.
Ideas?

Thanks.
