I'm involved but there are a lot of big shots running this thing like Michelle Malkin, Hannity etc., etc.,  We hit a over a million tonight but anyone can donate still.  The big shipment goes out July 2nd.  The biggest amount of care packages ever.

After reading a bunch of pages on the LLPPafter not looking at it for like 2 weeks, I remember why this page is the best on the site... +k to all.

And if a certain person gets elected and doubles the capital gains tax, imposes a windfall profits tax, and a cap and trade tax.   A trillion in new taxes.  Add to that no viable energy policy.  Hello $8-$10 per gallon of gasoline, food shortages, high unemployment, and an economy brought to its knees.

Sweet!

pbr,

Those tax policies specifically capital gains, windfall, and cap and trade will make a struggling economy worse. All will directly affect GNP.   The average American is not going to be able to afford this guy running the country.

The other guy is a LOTE (Lesser of Two Evils).  He has dumb policies in his head too like amnesty for illegal immigrants and cap and trade.  Cap and trade is a big tax scam.  This global warming thing is the biggest scam going.  It is all a bunch of crap.   But its better to battle a President on a few issues then all of them.

PBR...

well most polls and interviews pbr has seen is americans are having numerous problems right now before the windfall taxes are even in place...mortgages, heating oil, gasoline, food bills ....but pbr is not going to make this a politicla board, as there are plenty of other boards to go rant/debate politics the LLPP is not one of them we get enuf politics everywhere else.

so enuf politics .....4th of july plans?   reg u  have another wedding to hit over the holiday LMAO?   pbr will probably hanging local pool side w/ a cold ML and marley blasting away

And politics and policies over the past 30 years have brought us here.  So it is important.  I have become more politically savvy since 9/11. But enough for now.

We are taking the 4th in DC and Georgetown.  We were thinking of a quick get a way, and not spend too much on travel.  Plus most of the museums and sites are free.  FMJT Dad works at Marriott so we get the family rate.

Gotta save for the annual big vacation over Thanksgiving.  If all goes well, FMJT becomes MJT in Hawaii.

What about everyone else So how many 30-packs will the LLPP consume?

The one thing that was on Regs' "need to have it list" when househunting (right next to "man room", but below "soaking tub") was a pool.  With the amount of houses on the market (of which we looked at 50) there wasn't 1 with a freaking in-ground pool.  What is up with that?  So now Reg is in this grey zone where he either drops 40 large for a pool in a house he might be in for a couple years, getting a hot tub, chill out in one of the wal-mart pools that cost $200 (which aren't allowed in my community) or totally sucking and do nothing.
Pools add no value and around here can probably be used for 4 months a year.

With gas being $5 a gallon and rising, there is no way I am getting a boat right now, but if I found a summer lake cottage, I'd spring for a jet boat or party barge.

Decisions decisions....(watch me not do anything)

Oh yeah, July 4th plans.........ML and the grill.  (maybe one of those fancy above ground pools too)jk

PBR...

reg and the new neighbors on the 4th?
