JT

JT's back from DC.  A fabulously patriotic weekend, including fireworks right out our hotel window.  JT was quite flabbergasted at the behavior of those 13 yrs and under.  JT would see some incorrigible ish and think here comes the smackdown from said 'rents.  Then nothing.  Maybe some negotiating that went nowhere.  Who negotiates with a 6 yr old?  Especially after yesterday was a full day at Busch Gardens.

JT pulled some of that ish maybe once, then got smacked right there in front of everyone.  Wow!

RE: GPS is great, but it needs an avoid crack houses function.  Fastest route isn't always the best.

Thankfully, although a good percentage of those I see do... Discipline has gone out the window in recent years...

JT has always thrown a knowing smile at those parents taking care of business.  Looking back JT usually deserved the beatdowns he got.

Ahhh yes, the "avoid crack house" function....I think those are now standard on all Grosplorers.

If it sets the llpps mind at ease, Reg opted against the Jag S-type and for the '06 STS.

GPS is the absolute worst thing you coud EVER buy for the Boston streets.  I would say most of New York (minus Manhattan) would be the same.  It is 99% horrible in Boston.  The streets were made in 1782 (not joking) and the one ways were probably made in 1790.

Although Philly has some old streets, too, I've found GPS to be relatively reliable here.

Gro uses google maps w/ GPS on the crackberry. No issues in Atlanta or Nashville, but they are not Boston.  Does Boston have any regular 4 way intersections? It's fun coming up to a light and having 17 stop lights with arrows pointing every which way.

Needless to say, Gro has gone the wrong way down a one way street in Boston (right in front of a cop).

Thats the problem.  Downtown Boston is made up of curved streets and 3-5 way intersections with arrow lights, one ways, new and old ramps.  The signs for streets (and signs in general) are also horrible.

JU and MJU will probably always have one 4WD vehicle, and one sedan.  For the next choice of sedan, JU likes the Toyota Avalon......

TDT, you are like school on a Sunday.....NO CLASS

I didn't want to be talked out of the Caddy and I didn't want to spend the kind of money it took to get into an gs430.  It's black on black with the premium package and every option they put into these things (heated and cooled seats, heated wheel, navi, moonroof, blutooth, Bose, electronic everything, etc)

It's sitting on polished 17's and has the V6 instead of the v8 northstar. Im not sure anyone will even be able to sell a car with a v8 in 2 years, so I sacrificed the power for better resale.

Also, if the DTS were a little shorter, I would have definately purchased that car instead.  Pure Luxury

Regulator sometimes spends hours a day telling 'fumbles' about how he should have gotten the ball more in that 2001 playoff game vs Ithaca

Reg looks from someone to "ISO" block during reading time at the Sunshine Hills Living Center.  As you can see, there are no takers...
