Bobby was a very good ballplayer and even a better person.  Met him a bunch a times.  JT remembers when all the Yankees had was Munson and Murcer.  Too bad Gabe Paul traded him away.  Just imagine Murcer's numbers had he been able to pepper that short right field porch in 1976, 77, & 78.  That perfect Yankee Stadium swing ruined by Shea, Candlestick and Wrigley.

Tony Snow also died too.  He was a nice guy too.  Even most libs liked him.

This kinda thing makes JT wonder why good people die too soon but ass*oles seem to live forever.

KS met Bobby Murcer in 69 or 70 when KS Cub Scout pack went to the Stadium for a game.  We went out to monument park before the game, back when it was still in center field.  Murcer and Gene Michael came out and spent time talking to all of us and to our dads and the den mothers and they signed autographs for over an hour while the rest of the team when back to the club house.  He became KS favorite player that day, then Munson came along and he became KS favorite player.  KS was heartbroken when Murcer was traded to the Giants.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Does "cashin in at the register" mean "get in now!" or do you see another opportunity at a later time?
