Tags loves it in here --- every now & then someone new comes in, doesn't understand, gets bent out of shape, and leaves.

Not that Tags is a vet, but he's bought into the program. Hell, where else can you get this type of information! cough Politics cough, lively Economic discussions, Auto's, Home's, etc... You name it, it's here.

Oh, and football.

EDIT:

Also, FMTags signs her emails FMTags now -- all a credit to the LLPP.

Nah, Tags just wants to move to a state where it is illegal not to carry a concealed weapon.

PBR, +k for the Dallas reference.

Yes, Tags is 90% confident he will be relocating to Houston - hopefully targeting Jan. 1 as the date... although work may want it to be earlier.

Going down for a visit with FMTags next week. Is anyone around that area?

Phil from the NJAC board is down around Houston.

On a serious note, how does it feel to see St. John Fisher beat your guys? It wasnt that long ago that you pounded them 44-6 in 2001.  How can you explain the lack of commitment from the school/athletic department to allow this to happen?  In 2002/2003 you own coach said that "he would rather lose a child than lose to SJF" and now look you havent won a game vs them since 2001.  Actually you've been beaten you've lost by an average of 38-22 over the past 6 seasons.

Isn't there an ol' LLPP gas station joke that would be a great response to this?

I'm pretty sure UR would be welcomed back to the UAA with open arms, after 2011 that is.   ;)

My "guys" were the Rugged Rams of Amsterdam High and as far as I know, Fisher has never beaten them.  Auburn, Colgate and the Trojans of Troy State University (alas, now simply Troy University) are  the college football teams I follow.  I know some kids on the UR team, know some at Utica College and probably a few others. As far as UR's commitment to football, having seen one game, I can't really comment.

And I'll work on my quoting if you work on you sentance structure.   :)

[Reg will take that as a no then.  When does the pain train end?

When the U.S. abandons Keynesian economics, which--contrary to popular opinion--is not even remotely capitalistic, but watered down marxism.  Or maybe the pain train will end when Americans look in the miror and seek the truth rather than further dellusion.

We had our chance to take a turn toward fiscal and economic sanity, but he was laughed off stage when he mentioned things like the Fed, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac are dangerous, that the stage is set for inflation, and that the war in Iraq is bankrupting us and sucking up all of our petroleum resources (the Marine Corps Air Station where I work uses a minimum of a million gallons a month).

Ron Paul Emmanuel Goldstein was crazy and all of those nutty things he warned about are coming true, the stupid idiot jerkball!  It's all his fault!

The Rev is looking forward to football season, too.
