You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I mean, looking at the big picture...NY/NJ is the crotchal region of the entire country isn't it?

Speaking of Crothal Regions, LD11 is leaving tomorrow for a bachelor party, followed by wedding the next weekend in the 'Dirty D', Dunkirk, NY.  I've never been there, but i've heard stories...And the bachelor party is at the 'Polish Club' so it shall be an interesting first weekend to say the least....

TGP will be heading to the Sox-Halos game this weekend to see Beckett vs. Saunders.  Should be an interesting match-up post All-Star break.  Last time TGP went to Halo Stadium he saw Schill win Game 3 of the ALDS.

TGP's concurs with JT's assessment of the markets.  Us banking guys are already guessing on who's going down next.  Thought we were in the mid-to-late innings of this thing, but the reality is we are in the bottom of the 2nd.

All in all, this sucks.

Hope you all saved for these rainy days.  Now if we only could figure out when the storm will end......?

Oh snap... LD - forget everything you learned about NY from the capital district... you are heading to the west siiiide.  Gro had a few friends that attended SUNY Fredonia, and one currently resides Dunkirk. Also, Gro had a chance to visit Jamestown, NY last year a little south of where you'll be.

Expect it to be like 2 parts Troy, mixed with 1 part deliverance.  God speed.

AUPepBand

AU gets a good number of its football players from Southwestern New York i.e. the outed "exited" 2006 poster Gatto of "Saterday" fame is from Bemus Point (Maple Grove High School) near Jamestown. Pep understands AU will be getting a promising QB Tom Secky from Maple Grove this year, who no doubt will compete to fill Keeley's shoes.

Granted, Jamestown is downstream from Alfred (actually every place is downstream from Alfred)...but from what Pep gathers in his travels, things are tough everywhere.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Of course we all know that U89 is from the cloaca (yes, look it up) of Massachusetts....

How about Papelbon's prego wife being threatened in NYC during the All-Star festivities?  I mean, seriously?  I mean, there is a baseball rivalry, and there's stupidity.

However, I must say, I used to get so angry when we got so hyped up about the Yankees, and the Yankees fans would pull the 'We don't really care about the rivalry' crap.  Now I kinda get it though.  When you win, you kinda get complacent when it comes to rivalries, and all that matters are more championships.  I know it's still a honeymoon period for most Boston teams, but i'm kinda feeling the shoe on the other foot right now.

Jeter said the NYY fans are the "best in sports" and I tend to agree that NY fans are just as passionate, intelligent and occasionally obnoxious as any other big sports town (Boston, Philly, LA, Chicago, etc).

But at the ASG, the majority were like school on Sunday.

No class

With the prices and scarcity of the tickets, JT wonders how many real fans were at the ASG.  JT would have been in the minority, but he'd have cheered for Paps.  It the ASG for chrissakes at Yankee Stadium, partisanship should go away for one night.

The new stadium will be great, but to JT something will always be missing after 2008.  At least JT got to walk around where the greats have played.

U89 seeks permission to use 'cloaca' at will when looking to poke fun at buddies and RPI alumns......if permission is granted, do I need to give Utah credit.

That term could be the best slam I've ever heard.....much more disgusting than simply calling someone an a-hole.
