Reg,

These NYC traffic/ticket agents could inspire violence from the Pope.  I've seen them illegally ticket cars.  A slight fear of getting popped by an irate automobile owner kept them on their toes.  Now they'll have no fear.

I've had ticket agents try to ticket me for popping a quarter in to a strange meter to prevent someone from getting a ticket.  JT hates those meter maids that hang out for those last few minutes, just to nail someone when the meter hits 0:00.  JT likes pissing them off by occasionally putting a quarter in.

They'll usually ask me for ID and try to intimidate me.  JT just laughs.

The LL is usually split into 2 groups:
The big 3 of Hobart, RPI, and Union
and the other guys Roch, SLU, WPI, MMA, Susq, and formerlly Coast Guard (Coast Guard?)

Gro was bored as ish and looked back at the games played since the creation of the LL (4 seasons, 04-07).  The big 3 is 53-4 against the rest of the league.  Unfortunately for the haters, the 4 losses were all by RPI
2004 SLU
2006 Roch, SLU
2007 Roch

The RPI thing is interesting, but my point is when is another team going to step it up in the LL?
Rochester is always "getting close"
SLU is always "getting better"
WPI can't shake the bizarro status (I see them leaving the LL soon)
the rest is dookie.

The 'crotch' is 2-0 against the 'neers over the last 2 years?

Where could the Bizarroneers go??  The only potential place U89 sees for them is the NEFC and that would be disastrous for them in that outside of MIT, all the other schools are academically in line with the likes of ithica (sorry Utah.....old habits die hard).

WPI would likely dominate in the NEFC ala CGA (Coast Guard?).

Last season the Bizarroneers ripped off several double monkey stomps against NEFC teams like UMass-D-mouth (49-17), Woo State (40-14) and Becker (61-33).  They then smoked MMA (aka the dookie).

WPI weren't exactly push-overs for the "big 3" either - WPI lost a 80 pt shoot out to Hobart 45-35, a 16-3 decision to Union, and a 21-14 2OT thilla to RPI.

Of course they followed that game with an 8-7 loss to Susquehanna.

WPI is also the only LL school TGP sees gear of in random places (like back in April when TGP and the Mrs went to Venice, Italy).

Truly the Bizarro's of the League.

No hard feelings.  I know where your anger comes from.....

1977 still haunts U89 as he relives this "talking to" he once had from an older Worcester Prep Classmate...

U89 takes a moment out of his day to reflect on what it really means to be a dutchman...

I read this as JT wanted to slap a meter maid when it was just a misdemeanor but now that it's a felony he'll have to cross it off his bucket list.

PG thinks it's more worthwhile to go sky diving or something...  :D

It was at least in part a joke.  But JT has seen more that a few NYC traffic personnel get slapped around by other irate people.  In general the meter maids ask for it.

Manny just wants one more big deal. He doesn't want the Sox to exercise the option. Two titles and a great mgr and he wants to be traded to Iraq.  No wonder he and A-Rod are friends. Jerk.

As much of a Hall of Fame caliber player he is, he's such a tool. I'm a Sox fan as I'm sure everyone knows, but enough is enough with this azz clown. These goons make so much cash, just show a little class for the love of everything holy.

He said Sunday that he's tired of the Red Sox... Peace out Manny - enjoy that $10M you get on the market. He's going to miss out on a 1-yr deal worth >$20M because he isn't getting stroked as much as he used to.

... ok done venting, carry on.

You are absoutly right.  He knows the red sox are not going to offer him 5 years and 80 million like some other team will probably do.  Thats why he is acting like a child.
