Reg,

These NYC traffic/ticket agents could inspire violence from the Pope.  I've seen them illegally ticket cars.  A slight fear of getting popped by an irate automobile owner kept them on their toes.  Now they'll have no fear.

I've had ticket agents try to ticket me for popping a quarter in to a strange meter to prevent someone from getting a ticket.  JT hates those meter maids that hang out for those last few minutes, just to nail someone when the meter hits 0:00.  JT likes pissing them off by occasionally putting a quarter in.

They'll usually ask me for ID and try to intimidate me.  JT just laughs.

In Midtown they have the Municipal Meters, you have to go to the machine and pay for your parking time and then put the ticket in your windshield.  KS has seen the meter clowns wait until the driver goes to the machine.  (There are usually two on the long Ave to Ave blocks and half the time one isn't working)  While the driver is paying for to park they write a ticket and put it on the windshield.

Warning: Football Related Post  :o

The LL is usually split into 2 groups:
The big 3 of Hobart, RPI, and Union
and the other guys Roch, SLU, WPI, MMA, Susq, and formerlly Coast Guard (Coast Guard?)

Gro was bored as ish and looked back at the games played since the creation of the LL (4 seasons, 04-07).  The big 3 is 53-4 against the rest of the league.  Unfortunately for the haters, the 4 losses were all by RPI
2004 SLU
2006 Roch, SLU
2007 Roch

The RPI thing is interesting, but my point is when is another team going to step it up in the LL?
Rochester is always "getting close"
SLU is always "getting better"
WPI can't shake the bizarro status (I see them leaving the LL soon)
the rest is dookie.

SLU is the Arizona Cardinals of the LL. Every F'in year, RT hears about how SLU is 'on the verge' and a 'team to be watched'. Screw that..it's only at the expense of stupid azz wins over RPI in the last few years why the Larries have even had any street cred. The reality is that SLU looks good at media day and always seem to show up for some close games but they never put together any kind of season that is playoff-worthy.

Can the LL realign as a 3 team conference w/ an AQ?????

rt how about this league, Union, RPI, Hobart, Fisher, Ithaca, Alfred, and then lets throw in Utica  for a cupcake victory

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

RPI is good at throwing in a WTF loss once a year.  It was Utica not too long ago. Back in the day aka gro's time it was Coast Guard (coast guard?).

Even the year they went to the semi's they won a close one against utica and got beat the last week of the season against Hobart. Seriously, WTF?

RT agrees w/ 'gro. Not sure if RT would want Utica in that mix only because RPI would find a way to lose that every few years.

Pls don't realign until '11.  I enjoy the local travel to Endicott and WPI!!

Should be an interesting yr.

Look for a big year from Robertson and RPI.  WIll miss watching McGowan but they have some very good returning wideouts.  DL is going to be a strength.  Look forward to watching Costa get even better

Hobart and their D looks like they will be very tough ...if the QB is solid they look very strong.. Sanders returning is a key piece.

WPI has lost a lot but can be a problem with their option offense ... not sure they can stop teams consistently.

Rochester will continue to run the ball with their O but they lost several key players as well and need to be balanced to keep teams honest.

Union will be the intruiging team.  They need to figure out the QB position and get some consistency in their passing attack.

Who knows from SLU and Susq?

SLU played RPI tough @ '86 before the game got away from them.

Susq is young and like the Sox.. who knows from game to game.

Sorry for the FB related post..

.............and paying the $7 million remaining on the jackazzes contract.....seems like the Red Sox were determined to rid themselves of #24.

U89 is gonna go out on a limb here and state that 'Gro's Soprano's post over in E8PP could be his best EVER...

+1 to you 'Gro.....fan-freekin-tastic...

Let's not fool ourselves over 'the big 3' and changing the leagues.  I believe, for scheduling purposes, RPI would be MORE than happy to have Union and Hobart leave the LL.  Why should they have 2 tough games on their schedule when they can have ZERO?

Jason Bay is Canadian...Blame Canada for all of this!
