Here is a quick article to spur the energy conversation - entirely too long for most folks Tags imagines, but you'll get the point.

Oil demand can be curbed if we actually focus on it - maybe then inflation won't be the worst it's been in 17 years.

even better tags the biggest breakthru possibly every in solar the other day in that cheap solar energy could be mass produced for the home consumer within 10 years a few relatively minor things need to be worked out but pbr's friends who work in the energy field say this is the big break thru they needed...

Wind also has the same energy storage problem, wonder if they can apply the fuel cell technology to wind also.

But we still need oil for trucks, airplanes, cars, plastics, tires etc., so we need to get to drilling.  JT favors a do everything energy plan.  Solar, wind, nuclear, liquid coal, liquid coal, oil, oil shale, natural gas etc., let's get energy independent and stop funding our enemies.

BTW one of the big reason Comrade Nancy Peloski won't allow a vote on drilling is because she is heavily invested in wind technology.   Beware of T. Boone Pickens also. Ah altruism ain't it great:

oil companies have millions of acres already approved to drill on, problem is they are lazy and want the low hanging fruit and everything handed to them. 15 years ago the arguement it was too hard to drill in these places held water not so now, the new technologies are incredible (what pbr's father help to develop). they want the biggest bang for the buck (what biz doesnt) too bad drill where you have permission first then come crying about the need to drill on anwr etc.. especially w/ the record profits they are posting. funny thing to pbr is everytime the oil comps are asked to give back the lands they have permission to drill on since they claim its either not possible or cost effective to drill on they immediately start flip flopping like a fish out of water. cracks pbr's father up everytime watching them squirm because they know they have the technology. oil comps are just buying time trying to figure out which alt. energy will rule the future and have already started buying up companies and patents quietly behind the scenes. that is why pbr like boone pickens you may not always agree w/ the way he does things but he puts his money where his mouth is and is above the board on everything. he hides nothing did he invest heavily in wind? you bet did he always say it was for profit as well as helping the global climate? you bet   many congressmen on both sides of the aisle have hidden agendas in big oil and alt. energies but at least pickens is above board on everything. besides pbr is really tired of this admins policy of just plug more holes in ground(eventhough it puts money into pbr's family).

T. Boone wants billions in taxpayer money for his wind project.  That's what JT is saying.  JT main problem with wind is the storage factor.  If they have a good storage solution, then OK I don't mind paying taxes on it.

But JT is also for getting the low hanging oil as it were.  Its ours let's get it.

As for Comrade Peloski, JT hopes she keeps up the plastic surgery until her ears meet at the back of her head.  She is one sorry politician.  And she's not doing her job by refusing to bring legislation that the American people want to the floor.

OK Camp starts tomorrow for many of the LL'rs (if not already) and not one team site has a season preview up yet....

Yes Pat... I have registered for Kickoff.

Seems like it should be about time for some news.

Goose rocks.  Having a bar at the office has its benefits. Vodka was chilling in the freezer.  Been a real good week.  Business has been slow.  Looks like things may be turning.  So JT had a celebratory pop before leaving the office.
